Course Curriculum Overview

Provide us good study environment, boost our confidence and not only in studies but also encourage us in many fields like dance, sports etc. Really good infrastructure and facilities. Placement opportunities are not that good . Workshop event for educational purposes are wuits common in this college . Overall it's a decent experience in this college.Teacher's are very helpful, they try to clear every doubt of students. In exam perspective college is quite strict. Teacher teach students experiment and try that every student performe experiments so they can get practical knowledge. Many workshop are also organised for educational purposes. The college maintained a strict and fair exam environment. The seating arrangements were well-organized, minimizing the chances of cheating or disturbances. The evaluation process was generally fair, though there were occasional delays in the announcement of results. I appreciated the transparency in the evaluation process, as we were allowed to review our answer sheets. The faculty was a mixed bag. Some professors were incredibly supportive and readily available to answer questions, even outside of class hours. They provided valuable feedback on assignments and mock tests, which helped me identify my weak areas. However, other professors were less accessible, and sometimes it was difficult to get clarification on exam-related queries. I appreciated that some faculty members organized extra sessions for exam preparation, which were particularly helpful. **Academics and Curriculum:** The curriculum was well-structured, and the topics were covered in a logical sequence. I found the professors generally did ba good job of explaining complex concepts, and they often provided real-world. The faculty was a mixed bag. Some professors were incredibly supportive and readily available to answer questions, even outside of class hours. They provided valuable feedback on assignments and mock tests, which helped me identify my weak areas.

They charge 15400 fees per semester for B.Sc. Medical. Infrastructure of college is good . Hostel rooms are pretty good but washroom cleanliness is a issue . Classrooms and library provide good environment for studied. Canteen provide decent food. Sports events are organised so student can show there talent like archery, cricket etc. They provide placement opportunities in their campus. But they offer low salary according to college proffesor job. But for someone who just need experience is a good opportunity but someone who is applying for permanent job should apply somewhere else at a good packageTeacher's are very helpful, they try to clear every doubt of students. In exam perspective college is quite strict. Teacher teach students experiment and try that every student performe experiments so they can get practical knowledge. Many workshop are also organised for educational purposes.Apart from educational purposes college organisation amazing events in which students show there talent of dancing, singing and calligraphy etc. College organize dance competition, singing competition, poster making and painting competition etc. To encourage them they also rewards students.Provide us good study environment, boost our confidence and not only in studies but also encourage us in many fields like dance, sports etc. Really good infrastructure and facilities. Fees and Financial Aid

My Year wise fees for B.Sc. Medical :- 40950 and actual year wise fees for this course is 50000 and it will not increase later on. We only have to pay the tution fees every semester and there is also Red cross fees which we have to pay every year once and is 80 rupees. At the time of admission we will have to pay additional 5000 which 4000 security fee and 1000 alumni fee. Out of this we will receive 4000 back after the completion of course. You will receive scholarship based on marks of your 12th board at the time of admission after that there is no merit based scholarship. But there is scholarship for SC/ST students, for which you will have to apply after admission.

Faculty

In my course for our batch we have three core subjects which we will have to study in every semester which are chemistry, botany, and zoology other than these there will be one more subject which changes in semester. But there have been some changes in this so, there are some more additional subjects that have been added. There are two exams in every semester one is mid terms and second is end semester exams. Mid term is of 50 marks and end sem is of 70. 30 marks for internal and 50 for practicals. Marking system is not that strict.

Fees and Financial Aid

Firstly the course that i chose it's not that much costly its easily affordable and like i gave nearly 14000 per year even lesser i guess 12000 something. Also the fees may increase a bit ever year but not too much and you can pay semester wide and yearly too. All-over everything is very nice including the teaching and non teaching staff. SC/ ST students can avail scholarship for themselves. There is one more thing like the fees depends on the course you take. Students who chose Bachelor's in biotechnology they used to pay 16000 per year. Along with that there were various merit base scholarships students can have benefit from them too. The cut off is generally higher for general category students and sc/st students can easily get a set in 3rd or 4th round. There are no such extra charges for anything everything is included in this fees . The semester fees that students pay it includes the registration fees, tution fees, lab charges, admission fees and development fees. If the student opt for some other value added courses they have to pay extra and that too only 400-500 rupees. The teaching staff is so well qualified and deserving. This college is Naac accredited A+ rating. The infrastructure and course structure is bery well designed. More and more students should enrolll and see what wonders dyal singh can do.

Campus Life

The campus is quite nice and attractive. I am in love with the botanical garden and science park . The most important fest that is the dewan anand quiz is held every year and students of various colleges come here for it. Other than this talent shows, quizzes, debates, slogan and poster making trips Nss camps, red cross societies amd many more . Prakriti the eco club is also a very attractive part of this college as their activities are soo fun to take part. Sports day is most awaited. Students build confidence because of these

Campus Life

The campus life is quite boring as they are very strict about everything like no one can go outside the college even to the cafeteria or canteen during college hours. They hold a very few fests. Another thing is that they don't have any clubs which other colleges have. Not all the books are available in the college. They do have student portal where we can check out our attendance and also manage our books issued from library.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees for the course I've opted (bsc. Medical) is 42000 rs. I have been provided the scholarship on the basis of my 12th merit which is 5000 rs on alternate semesters. The amount of the scholarship depends on the percentage obtained by the student in the 12th grade.

Good college with good teachers best lab facilities but hostel is really bad at food and cleanliness. It has really good sports facilities and other co curricular activities. College ambience is really good student crowd is good. Security facilities are up to the mark. Parking is available for students as well as teachers and both have different parking space. Two wheelers have seperate parking space. There are 2 canteens in the campus with affordable rates and vast variety of food. Stationary shop os also there in campus. Photocopy shop is also there but prices are really high. There is laundry facilities which is not that good and expensive too. There os a juice corner in campus which is really good at its price and quality and quantity as well

Faculty

The teachers are understanding and will provide you everything. They will help you if you're a sincere student, if you can understand the curriculum its easy to get accommodated. The exams are twice an year excluding msts, they need 75+ attendance else you will be fined heavily. They do not approve leaves as often

Course Curriculum Overview

They only had mycourse in this college of chandigarh and that is why i came here, learning it all i know i shouldnt have done this course rather tried to do something professional. Bachelors courses do not have much value as they do not provide any placements. The exams happen once in dec and the other one in may

Faculty

The faculty- to- student ratio is good enough. In our college students genuinely can share anything with the faculty because there are many teachers who are very open minded and well behaved. The faculty of zoology department i like the most because they are best teachers i have seen in our college. Mrs. jyoti joshi and mrs. Indu verma they both are my favorite teachers and are like friends. They teach us in a interesting manner. For bsc department they conduct 7 exams which includes chemistry ( inorganic, organic, physical) botany (paper A and paper B) and same for the zoology

Campus Life

There are lot of fests which are held in a year like bio rhythm which is mainly for the department of sciences Annual day and sports tournament are also held Big fests like furr fest ( for pets like cats amd dogs) riwayat and virasat are held every year There are many different clubs for the students . These clubs help students to build confidence, help them to socialize and give them a opportunity so that students can work on their skills and can generate their on ideas

Annual and technical festivals were many but among them I know few like Ghandi Jayanti , Jawaharlal Nehru birthday and much more these festivals were held for 1 months with good number of presentation.... And recently college participate in G20 and drug addiction etc which were very helpful for students. The range and accessibility of books and journals are widely available in library Facilities are good for Summers but not for winters they must install bukharies etc so the students would get warmth in winter classes Yes in our college there is gym...n gym is good for health... And also some NC team ..that is all about games and physical health

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is great and relationship between students and teachers is friendly and all the teachers were approachable. I only know zoology faculty because I was the student of this college But I also heard about botany and chemistry...I heard they were also perfect I don't like commerce batch because they always creat indiscipline. Exams are easy because before final exam there are lot of class tests so students are well prepared for finals....and I think almost all the students were able to pass the exam

Faculty

The teachers are actually very nice and helpful. Never pressuring students for anything. There are four sets of exams in a year. One mid semester and one final semester exams in one year . Not so easy not so difficult. It's all upon the preparation.
