DAV College Chandigarh Ranking 2026

DAV College, Chandigarh, does not have a highly structured or centralised internship program for B.Sc. biotechnology students. The faculty is supportive, and students are encouraged to pursue internships

We do have a training and placement cell which is run mostly run by both students and teachers. Students with good percentile can sit for placements and can get place into companies which are mostly from BPO and sales background. Students are eligible for campus placements in their 5th semester. Companies which have came in our college in 2024-2025 are Sri ram insurance , Kotak insurance , Planet spark , De shaw , Zomato etc. Highest package offered is around 5 LPA and average package is around 1.5 LPA. I have planned to go for higher studies after my graduation, most probably I will be doing MBA.

1. I am in 4 semester so i don't know much about the companies but i have knowledge about placement companies which provides job are samsung , microsoft and apollo etc... 2. Students need to maintain their CV and reports , need to give interviews and maintain proper discipline

Internships are also available, i remember giving the interview for a company based in noida, for internship and company, college also helps create different projects . Teachers maintain a strict record for creating good practical results for students.

I am unaware of such employment opportunities but there are some clubs that encourage students to do something on their own related to the field of the clubs like organisation, even management etc. Even ncc proves to be a good direction for students.

Internships are provided to those students which help their company to grow. Our college have those students which have the ability to grow their company.There are several companies which visited our college but I didn't remember any of the company.

From 5 th semester students were eligible for campus placements . Number of companies come coolege to pick good employes like Amazon , Google IBM, Microsoft,Wipro etc. The highest packages is 90 lakhs last year . My plan after degree is to clear UPSE exam

There is many internship programmes done by arudents and u can do the courses and earn money side by side From the college side there is not internship for ba course but for other courses there is . You can do the course for getting eligibilty for upsc and other government exams

From the final year stundents can approach placement cell many companies approach every year to dav college such as sun pharma, cipla , infosys and plethora of these. As i am arts student am goiny to join civil service

After 5th semester students are eligible for campus placements. I don't know about the companies name but . But recently some companies were visited our college and take the placements. I think 55 to 60 % students getting placements. I will prepare for civil services after graduation.
