DAV College Chandigarh – Strong Academics, Good Location, and Engaging Campus Life

I am currently in my 3rd year of BCA at DAV College, Chandigarh. The tuition fee was around ?47,000 in the first year, ?52,000 in the second year, and ?58,000 in the third year. Each year also included a ?850 prospectus fee, and the exam fee is approximately ?3,380 per semester. The fees have seen a gradual increase over the years. While the computer labs are good and functional, they are not very well-equipped with the latest systems. Various scholarships and financial aid options are available for students, such as merit-cum-means and government assistance schemes, though I personally did not avail them.

Truth of the college

I am pursuing BA from DAV College and I pay the fees 23000 /- every year and also I pay the examination fees around 3200 every semester. They also charge fine if we can't attend the classes regularly. If we take the any honners subject the charge some amount for that subject. In first year if student want to change there subject the have toh charge around 900/- per subject.

THE LIFE AT DAV COLLEGE

The fees for Bcom per year is around 33000 per year which adds up to 100000rs for whole degree. along with that examination fees of Rs. 3000 is paid for every semester. Yes scholarships are available in our college for students in sports , EWS, SC ,ST and batch toppers but scholarships can be availed by few people under above criteria. registration fees is also paid of about 800 per year and an additional fees of Rs 300 is charged per year for college fest.

It is honest

The fees from 1 year to 3rd year always goes between 19,000-22,000 . There is examination fees which depends on your subject and your course which goes from Rs. 2010-3200. There is a admission fee that you have to pay in order to register for your admission.if you don't get admission.there is no refund for that .In BA there are no placements and no internships provided by the college.there are placements and internships options for other courses. They provide scholerships that for maybe for the reservations and depends on your marks too.i know a guys who got ?10,000 check from the college on the basis of his marks .maybe you need more than 90 percent to apply for scholarship.

The yearly fees structure is around 50000 and it is increasing per year by margins of 1-2k My previous seniors had payed just 46k in starting of their course so as to say its increasing always Fees for all categories are the same as per my knowledge as its a semi private college Scholarships are available to the top scorer each year for about 50% fees reduction And about 100% scholarship for students good in sports

Overall good but can be more better

Registration fees - 950 RS Admission fees - RS 21000 approx changes year after year Examination fees - RS 3910 No Dues - RS 1000 to 20000 vary on the basis of your attendance. Hostel fees - RS 70000 to 150000 vary on the basis of facilities and sharing.

the truth!

our college fees for bsc is around 28-30 k it was less for the first year around 25-26k but then it was increased in the second year. we have to pay registration fees around 200 and examination fees for around 3500. our college provide few scholerships as well for the students with 80%or more. we have to pay practical fees and attendance fees around 1k-10k .
