Hostel Facilities:

The hostle room is little small and the washroom is also cleaned every day so no need to worry about dirty washroom. Hostel meals are not much good as home. Hostel registration is only Rs 850 but not affordable for very poor students.

Room conditions are not that gopd in hostel. There are seperate A/c rooms which costs higher. Meal quality is poor in the hostel. Registration process is really easy you just have to apply from the college portal. It is based on first come first serve basis. Sector-15, 22,20Naya gao are preferred localities for affordable rooms

Canteen and hostel mess are very clean..

Hostel facilities are very good and meals we get from mess are very good. Hostel fees is upto 1 lakh per year and it is worth. But if you want to opt pg or flat you may opt 15 sector or 23 sector Chandigarh

DAV College the best college in Chandigarh tricity.

Campus is good in our college there is seperate hostel for boys and girls.

There are two types of room one is AC and another is NoN Ac. Ac rooms has extra charges like 10000 extra of hostel fees. Meal quality is excellent and hygiene is also good. Registration process for hostel is by filling form through dav College portel. There is nearby 15 sector where you will get easily rooms and Pg. If you want cheaper then at a distance of 3-4 km there is Nayagaon where you can take room . From there you have to come with rikshaw or Bus.

Boys hostel in Dav college named as BTC boys hostel have capacity of around 250 persons, It has 2 types of rooms Ac and non ac, Rent for ac room is 120000 per year Rent for non AC room is 100000 per year 3 and 2 sharing rooms are available One single bed, cupboard and study table is provided for each student in room. Food quality is good , every day different food is offered. Four meals are provided in a day, Breakfast, kind, evening tea and snack , dinner.

Dav college chandigarh

Hostel has both ac and non ac rooms. Ac rooms are shared by 3 people, while non ac rooms have 2 and are smaller. Hostel has 3 buildings, common washrooms on every floor, balconies etc. Mess opens on timings, food is not very good but not that bad too. Hostel registration is done during admission itself. Affordability wise it's not very affordable and definitely does not provides facilities according to price.

Sometimes, don't like the hostel mess food.

In hostel, we are provided with 24/7 electricity, 3 times food and snacks in evening. AC rooms are also available, and there are three sitting room and two sitting rooms also can take room of the wrong choice and with there desired partner. The hostel mess menu is fixed and they prepare food according to that only and the quality is good sometime it's not good but it's good in total. Registration process is quite simple and it's an online process, we have to fill the form and also submit the fees, then we have to get some print outs and submit them to the warden Mam and then she will suggest us some rooms and we can pick accordingly. Charges for AC room and non AC room are different, for AC rooms it is 1,10,000 pa. and for non AC room it is 90,000 pa. I chose hostel because it is more easy for us, as we can go for classes last minute ???? and can go back to our rooms if there is a break b/w 2 classes and those who are living in PG it's quite far and expensive as of daily transport exp.

My college DAV

1) The rent for the hostel for non AC rooms was 90000 RS per year and for the AC rooms was 110000rs per year. 2) The rooms were very good but the washrooms had a very bad odour and the food was also not fresh. 3) The rent was affordable as compared to the the rent of the pgs in chandigarh. 4) The registration of the hostel can be done from davchd.ac.in after the selection is confirmed.

College=Hostel=Life time memories

Double and triple persons room are available. AC and Non AC both are available. 1 bed , 1almirah and 1 table chair is provided. The food is outstanding. Healthy and hygiene. 3 meals a day plus snacks in evening. Registration process is simple just will the form and submit it in hostel office and pay the fees.

The surreal life of DAV College

The hostel facilities are pretty decent now. The room I've got has an almirah with one tube light. I personally feel there should have been more than one tube light or atleast a bulb. Other than that I feel that the washrooms should be cleaner and have warm water for the winters as well My college is in Sector 10 and the neighbouring sectors like 16, 15, 14, 11 etc provide pg and rented rooms
