If you haven't studied Psychology in graduation, you aren’t eligible to apply for MA Psychology at DAV Chandigarh. The required eligibility for the course is BA (Hons) in Psychology or BA with Psychology as one of the subjects with at least 50% aggregate mark. So, you need to have studied Psychology in graduation, in order to apply.
DAV College Chandigarh has a huge campus. It includes a playground and 3-4 little gardens. The college is situated at the center of the city and everything is nearby. You can get all the basic amenities on campus as well. There are two canteens, two Nescafes, a juice center, a stationery shop, a print shop, a salon, and laundry.
The faculties are well-experienced. Some of the faculty members are quite friendly and cooperative. The college has a three-story library. It has a good collection of books.
DAV College has many clubs and societies like Literary society, Economic Society, NSS, etc. The college organizes events like Karvaan, and Star nights annually.
Election times are the worst. There are many fights and unnecessary chaos on campus. The college isn’t strict regarding its attendance rule and you can get away with not attending classes. Faculties sometimes don’t attend the classes and as a result, the students suffer. These are some of the disadvantages that you may have to face on campus.
You can check the website of the respective colleges you want to know about. All the process from filling the form to paying the fees is online.
You have to go to the college to show the 10 and 12 standard mark sheets. Keep your passport photographs and your certificates, these should be self attested. Fill in the online application form. Check the schedule for counseling at the official website.
The admission process is based on merit and first come first serve mostly for the BA department. The choice and allocation of the subjects will vary according to the marks scored by the students in their 12th board exam.

Yes, you can migrate from DAV College Chandigarh to PU main campus in your 2nd year of BA
You just need to know about the requirements for doing so. These could include: marks required or seats vacancy, etc.
The students involved in the youth elections will be able to guide you. Try getting a hold of a person who is a party member. He may be able to get you in, by admission or by referral.
Also note that there could be a slight chance that in PU, the reference required has to be powerful or influential.

Yes, you can easily get a seat at DAV College Chandigarh with 90%. The admission is purely based on merit and subjected to the availability of seats.
Make sure you are choosing this college after analyzing each and every aspect of it. Because you need to keep in mind one thing, that the college will not be responsible for shaping your career but you will.
DAV College Chandigarh faculty are really helpful and cooperative. They will also guide you on how to move forward in your career. Try learning new skills and enhancing the older ones as these will play an important part during the recruitment process.
Try to stay away from student politics, as it takes up a lot of time and involvement. Remember that you are here to learn and grow, so focus and work accordingly.

You can definitely apply, whether you will get admission or not, it depends on the availability of seats. Many times, students leave their seats for better colleges. This way seats are vacated and made available for students who didn’t get admission during counseling.
The number of seats for the BA program at DAV College has been reduced a few years back. The required cutoff may be higher. I will suggest that you fill the form and wait for the cutoff list.

It depends whether you have done your 10+2 from Chandigarh or outside of UT. If you have done your 10+2 from UT, then you can get admission quite easily with 84%. But if you completed your 10+2 from outside then it will be a little tough to get selected. Since the cutoff is a little high.
Panjab University’s main campus only offers B.Sc(Hons). Admission is through PU-CET. The UG seats are also limited. For admission, you can fill the form online, by visiting the admission portal of the university.
DAV College is affiliated with Panjab University. Both B.Sc (Hons) and general (PCM) are available. Admission is based on merit as for which will be better, choose the institute based on your preference.
It all depends on what your goals are. If you want to acquire a degree, then choosing DAV College is fine. The college does not care about attendance and you can easily complete the program even if you miss classes for a month. However, a heavy fine will be charged for the same.
If you want to learn new things and looking for great opportunities in BCA, then look for some other option. The faculty is good but they are not experienced in the area properly and this can be a setback.
Go for BCA only if you are interested in programming and computer applications, otherwise, you will regret this decision.
