DR SSB UICET Panjab University review

Basically I don't have interest in technical branch.so I decided to take chemical engineering becoz of less fees structure of this college .I choose it .It is in the main campus of Panjab University.We have permission to go everywhere in university and also environment is very healthy.

Basically all the famous company related to chemical engineering branch and food technology branch visit college. Famous company like Honey well also visit and offers students internship opportunity on skill development or paid internship.

Department provide internships opportunity in 3rd year .also provide campus placement.Deartment invites many companies in campus .Also prepare students for their interviews and placement.Time to time placement session are taken

My college is Dr.SSB University institute of chemical engineering and technology offers three course chemical engineering,food technology and integrated course chemical engineering+MBA. Admission is taken through Jac Chandigarh counselling. My college one year fees is 17500 for odd semester and 5000 for even semester.There is no state quota in our institute.Also other quota catagory quota ,single girl child quota and rural area quota and border area quota are available. There is another 7500 security fees which has to be paid during admission which is refundable .1st year fees is deducted from the 40000 rs which is paid during counseling seat freeze time. College also provide it's scholarship on merit bases. Limited seats of hostel are available which are given on merit bases according to your jee rank .

Basically I am 1st year student.There are many club and society in college and you can be a part of it by giving a simple introduction about yourself. You can go to Ac joshi library which is in just front of college gate . Department also have its library other than Ac joshi library

There are limited hostel seats which are offered by department and these seats are filled on merit basis of jee mains exam .there are 8 boys and 7 girls hostel and international hostel also .Each hostel contains 2 mess and 1 canteen.

Basically I belong to Haryana state , so I also has applied for hstes counselling which is for all Haryana technical College .I got seat in Jc bos university and got a seat of electrical engineering and at the same time I also got the seat in jac chandigarh counselling and got the seat in chemical engineering.I compare both college and after fees structure, placement and college location,I choose Panjab University

Our department have well skilled faculty.Although 3 professor are in top 10 percent professor list.of world. Also there are some guest faculty.Department take 2 time mid term exam and final semester exam .Marks are calculated one the basis of :final sem marks 50 +best of two mid term exam 25 marks +25 internal .

If you are living in hostel then you have permission to go outside the hostel in night for 24 hours in campus and this facility is same for girls also .you can spend time in night with friend at Gandhi bhawan.
