City beautiful , beautiful green campus and good study environment

Best place to be. Panjab University got a very big campus and situated in main Chandigarh. Campus is highly accessible and beautiful place to be . There are no restrictiond inside the campus and you will enjoy your college life to fullest

Course curriculum is up to date and it covers most part of computer applications.although it have 2-3 unecessary subjects but that's okay to deal with. We have 2 mid terms exams in every semester and then final practical and one semester ending examination. All the exams are checked externally and every student require more than 50 marks to pass the exams. Each semester have 5 theory subject and 2 practicals.

Placements are quiet good .highest package offered last year was ?7,50,000 per annum by indus valley. Last year around 40 companies visited campus for placements and around 90% of students get placed.

Our university have 3 annuals fest and every department have there own fest. Mostly fest are conducted in Feb and march. There are wide range of events in the university from tech events to sports events.

Fee structure is feasible and also expensive it vaires from course to course but it's still less then most of private universities. Few degrees are quiet expensive like MBA and MCA but MSC have very feasible fee structure

Panjab University coffers scholarships to students belonging from economic weakers sections or having annual income less than 5 lakh per annum .there are also various schemes through which students can avail upto 75% scholarship on fees.

Panjab University have play ground for every sports you wanna play. Campus is around 500 acres so we have lot of space. Labs have high end equipment and latest up to date computers. Cultural festivals and sports activities are integral part of university activities

Hostels have good infastrucutre butt most of them are old. In PU hostels are like home to students . You get free high speed wifi. Good mess and canteen food . 24 hour unrestricted access to hostel . No attendance no entry timings.

University have good alumni network and senior students are very helpful from first day . They help in every possible way as most of students take time to adjust in new city and new environment. Relationship between seniors and juniors is good.

Faculty is highly qualified and most of them are PhD holders or researchers. Teachers are highly experienced And they know how to make students understand. We have teachers who have there research papers published all over the world . Out mathematics teacher have post doctorate from Germany. All faculty members are always there to help studentd.
