The course the subjects and the teachers are awesome. The environment is very friendly. The AC JOSHI library located in the college is by far the biggest and resourceful library.

Panjab University is considered to be a center of excellence and learning, but when it comes to gender equality its indiscriminate attitude towards female students comes to the fore in a very hideous manner. I am pursuing my Ph.D in the University and in my 4 years experience as a resident in the University hostel,I have come across many incidents that seriously challenge all claims of "learning

Hostel Facilities

Excellent hostel rooms and place to live in. It is equivalent to your home. Facilities are excellent plus the food is awesome we have our biggest canteen.

Review for MCA in PU

Placement Experience:

The placement process is began and ended only in third semester as forth semester is for internship. Mostly the companies from tricity visits here like edifecs, chicmic, inno8 etc. MCA students from PU Chandigarh, regional center (Hoshiarpur and Muktsar) students and MSC students sit together for the placements. The highest package from last year was 17 LPA and this year till date is 7.25 LPA. Average package is 4LPA.

My Honest Review for P.U.

Placement Experience:

The semester in which students are eligible for campus placements vary from department to department. In my course, students are eligible for campus placements in their 3rd semester. For the 2022-24 batch, 17 companies visited the department for placement which includes American express, josh, mediatek and more tri City companies. The highest package was offered to a student by mediatek of 17 lpa. 63 % of the students gets placed from previous batch. I am planning to get a descent placement after the degree.

My Experience at Panjab University

Placement Experience:

In the last semester, the placement drives are scheduled where the students themselves form the committee and reach out to the companies for the placement drives. The alumni also help out with the drives. Though the chances of campus placement are almost 97% the package is very low ranging between 2lakhs to 8 lakhs. The average is just 2.5lakhs.

A good college

Remarks:

Postive 1. Nice infrastructure 2. Nice faculty 3. Seniors are good enough to call them friends Homely feeling and i made some nice friends of other states here There is a lot to learn and university helps you at every stage Social life is good and they keep developing your personality and hidden talents Sports keep you fit and regulated 75% attendance is not good as other state students have to go home several time to it is almost impossible to keep 75%.

Best place to be. Panjab University got a very big campus and situated in main Chandigarh. Campus is highly accessible and beautiful place to be . There are no restrictiond inside the campus and you will enjoy your college life to fullest
