SVIET Chandigarh PG Fee structure 2026-27 has been released. The total academic fee is ₹ 60,000 -₹ 2.4 Lakhs.

SVIET offically known as Swami Vivekanand Institute of Engineering & Technology was established in 2004 and is affiliated with IK Gujral Punjab Technical University. The institute is approved by AICTE, and accredited by NAAC with a B++ grade.

from 3rd year onwards the students are being prepared for college placements but before hand the college students are given clients through the special cources in college from 3rd sem onwars with proper online training given seniors are always there to help you out . the highest packet offered was around 18LPA and minimum is 4LPA After the degree i hoped for placements at higher company and maybe with sufficient funding a start up might as well be given chance

What are various events being organized in the college?

as soon as we join the college a ceremony as a welcome function is organised for the freshers .For the students accomoded in the hostel get a hostel night with dj and small games with the audience is involved . in the month of febuary spontania a week long the biggest fuction is held all together for the college where every cource students are grouped and compete in all sort of art,tech,dance,singing competetions. but one thing college has a time table following full period classes and just a one hour break in between so college is basically a school which ends at 4:40pm

What is the total fees of the course and scholarship availability?

For this college and for this course specifically you required to take a registration costing 5000 then the semester fees are paid semester wise per semester you are required to pay 47500 as a cource fee and 30000 for the hostel which includes mess fee 10000 in it. extra charges may be applied based on academic performances . sometimes according to counsellers you might get some of the cource fee deducted. scholarships are given to students of the college and are notified by the college for every OBC,SC,ST and other scholarships are informed in time.

Through my jee score i got in to NIT of our state but i wanted to opped for outside state studies i also got into DU for the cource of BSC in physics but due to late result well i think this cource is fitted for me as i wanted to go for physics as well as tech related cource

Night Life

the college has its own gym with trainers which students can join in two different shifts . library is also provided at a different block where students can be accessed with threir id books are also provided with it. the college has huge 2 big fields where students hang out the most as well as the college cafeteria with four shops the college also have a stationary where all document printing can be accessed THEcollege doesnt allow students to go out of hostel after 8pm for girls even inside campus the students can roam after 8. and 9pm for boys so night life is totally zero.

A college That Feels Home

I chose this college because first of all the fee structure is very good it is way too affordable my college is semi government I don't have to be forceful to get into a private college if I am getting a semi government college here they are running different types of batches where they are very much keen interested to pay attention to the students who are willing to study they give us different types of guidance we are having 1 on 1 personal mentorship where the students are free to share about what types of problem they are facing and what where they are lacking and how much they need to improve they are in other colleges the students they don't pay attention whether the students are getting into the classes or not they don't have that much time and they don't want to they are they only have concern with their fee but in my college they don't only have concern about the fee but also you are not free to move around the campus you can't bunk lectures you need to attend the lectures whether you want it or you don't and in my college there is attendance criteria and if you don't meet that you have to pay fines in my college there are rules by which I am getting too much discipline I don't break the rules I know I have to do this at this time so it is a very good thing it is teaching a discipline how to maintain myself though things get sometimes stuff I am able to manage it and my college is overall a better experience for me.

Yes I can apply different colleges and I got confirmed report from the different different college but I select this college because this is after all in my case because the fee structure is too low so I can choose this call is now I didn't get any rejection from other college because I applied in analyzed some colleges so they are calling me get to admission and they are colleges but I choose these college because in my financial and this is also a good college form for me in my college the admission process is through the counsellors and also you can get admission after coming to college they are providing.

When selecting a college I consider various factors like placement record quality infrastructure probability and campus lives I got selected in multiple institutions but ultimately better placement because stronger industry tie ups and offer approval compared to other colleges yes I got rejected from CGC their cut off springs higher than my scores empty number of seats in desired branches admissions rounds clashing with other colleges process which led to be missing causally in time 10 + 2 with minimum 50 to 60% marks entrance exam scores that is jee mains state CETCET some branches may consider direct admission through management quota berries each year but generally around percentage rank or journal categories and relaxed cut offs for reserve categories smooth and transparent process online situation followed by document verification and counseling merit list base sheet allotment

From my point of view, that is enough for the student to cheque their college comparison to the another college and get admission and get a good job in any reputation company, because now the era, the theory demanding job is it sector. So if a student are not eligible to crack their interview round and attitude round, they can reject it to the company's interview replacement or internship So that's what my point of view

Admission:

I choose SVIET for its affordable fees , Decent placement and industry focused curriculum. Admission was merit based on 12th marks and JEE mains. Good aspects:- well equipped labs , Industry tie-up and modern infrastructure. Bad aspects limited top tire placement and average extracurriculum.

Admission:

Choosing the right college Is a major decision and a journey was filled with multiple applications, acceptance and a few rejections. A detailed comparison of options, the factors that led to my final decision and insights into admission process are I face rejections from college and colleges, which were more competitive in the selection processes. My entrance exams go as slightly below the cut off in one of the competitive colleges. Some colleges have fewer seats for my category, making admission harder. I perform well, but could have expressed my ideas more clearly in the personal interview round. Some colleges prioritise students with strong curricular activities, curricular backgrounds with made my profile less competitive

SVIET: my turning point

Dislikes

Too much pressure, harrasment, irrelevent burden, abusive behavior of the management and some of the faculty members. Calls, parents for every small thing to make them worried, this is bad specially for the students living far away from their house..
Too much interference in students personal life

Admission:

I got confirmation from CGC jhanjheri, Chandigarh University, Delhi University, MAharaja Chhatarapati Shivaji university , Mumbai, I chose this college as this was near my house I did not get rejection from anywhere First enterence and than a direct meeting with management.

I choose this college because fee structure of this college are really very much affordable for everybody like every middle class or low background they are also very much able to do their wanted courses like Btech or other BCA and all. Secondly faculty members of this college are really very much good and very much support if this supports each and every student's in every field whether it's technical or academics while in another colleges fees are also very much high so most people are not afford that fees and when coming to the like curriculum and way of teaching it is very much good in this college teachers focuses on each and every student but in another colleges teachers really don't care about students and all.
