- The environment of the university is quite well there is no ragging scenes here the senior are very helpful
- The teacher and other staff is quite guiding and helpful

I choose this course because in today's time, it has a lot of scope and potential to make your future bright
The curriculum of the college is quite good there are practical session labs that will help make you prepare for the real-world application
There should be more interactive sessions for the students. more practical knowledge will help them in the future and not a theory that should be focused on only. the teaching staff should be cooperative and guiding
There are two midterm exams conducted and then the final exams per semester. the Level of the exam is neither too difficult nor too easy .it lies in between
Internship opportunity in various organization provided by the college
There are many different intership opportunities that are provided by the university for the students in different fields
There many seminar or interactive session held with different companies that will guide the students for a right path
The companies that have visited our campus are tcs ,Wipro , Infosys and many other local companies
The will provide students with intership for 4-6 weeks and give them project to make that will help them in future
And also provide them the stipend
Companies recruiting from the campus, highest and lowest package being offered
The placement in the university are good but they are not in many numbers .so you have to try it on your own
The students here becomes eligible for internship from 4 semester
The companiesthat came here are tcs ,Infosys and many more there are also many local companies
The min package of the college are 5-6 lakh
And the highest package are 9-10 per year
If there is a class of 60 then almost 30-35 get placed rest some opt for High studies
I myself going for higher studies
Fees of the course per year
The years fee that we have to pay per year is around some 98000 which includes the semester fee and the all other fees are included in it ( except examination fee that u have to pay separately)
There are scholarship provided to the students on the ground of there percentage,there reserved category and some more
As it is semi government university so the scholarship that are provided by the aicte is also applicable here
There are various campus employment opportunity available here ,for professor and other staff
Events organized, clubs and facilities available in the campus
The campus life is amazing as it gives u different experience that will help us later in ur life in many aspects
There are many events that are held timely according to the their significance making a large no of students to participate in it
The library here is the most silent feature of this university.the infrastructure ,the interior are all so well there are different varieties of Book present encompassing all the different fields ,the students can issue the Book from the library
The classroom are well seated with comfortable seats ,ac facilities ,smart classroom,
There are also lab facilities with computer that can be used by any one
Sports is highly encouraged there is specific club and department for this
Coaches and trainers are there to prepare students to compete in competition in different inter college and other events
There are different clubs in the university that encourages students to participate and influence them in good way that will help them in future

The accomodation that is provided here is of single seater, double seater, tripple seater
The facilities in rooms are there are beds , studying table ,fans , almirah
There are no attach washroom here
No laundry facilities here
Mess facilities are also there in the hostel
Three times meal is provided and snacks in the Evening
The quality of food here is good not soo good not so badd
The registration process for the accomodation of hostel is done at the time of admission just have to fill the some forms and payment is done
There is no option for rented rooms and pg in near hear and there .and less amount of Shop in the near.
How to get admission in the college and what sets the college stand out ?
The eligibility for the course is that you must passed your 12 final exams from a well recognised board and with good percentage
For the registration process you can do it in two ways firstly by registering in the ptu online councelling ( the information regarding this you get on their official website) there will be two rounds of councelling , where all college that are under punjab technical university will be present there where u can select the college u want and then results will be declared and college will be allotted to you .there is some amount to pay for the registration process
Second you can opt for the direct admission ,where u have to visit the college and proces with all the formalities of admission
There are benefits for the reservation
There is no exam conducted by the university for admission and if u have given entrance exam like jee it will help u in the admission

Curriculum is okayish. It has all the standard subjects but teaching method is very boring. Teachers just read from books. I picked this course purely for interest in coding but the college makes it feel like burden sometimes.
Exams are predictable. Previous year papers are enough to get good marks. You dont need to be a genius to clear the papers here. The frequency of assignments is annoying though.

I honestly did'nt applied to many colleges because I was a bit confuesd. I mainly chose this college because of its localty and decent reputation in Jalandhar. The admisiion process is really simple here, without any unnecesarry delays. I received confirmation from this college on time.
the eligibility is 60% marks in 12th
there are no high cutoffs or expensive fees.

First of all i went to LPU which is no 1 in punjab ranking, when i visited it my experience was very good and placement was also good but the fees structure of every course was very high like if i talk about BCA then its fee was 180000 which was not right for me, so i did not take admission in LPU but the college was very good and i also went to geeta university in a panipat and no one knowledge about that college because it was in a remote area and the students there also explained to me that either do not take admission or you will have to pay fine after fine, this college is not good, so i dod not take admission there i did not take it and then i looked at IKGPTU where i am currentlu studying it was a budget college and not to far from my home and the course fees were also reasonnable, so i took admission

It's was quite close to my house and I liked it library and fees was preety low i thought of joining lpu but it fees was hight and it was way farther for me admission process was quite easy no exam just pay fees and submit required documents and you are good to go no I never got rejected from any collage

There is no need to get your transcript attested from PTU. Instead, you just need to request for the original transcript. It is a single page containing all the marks. Moreover, there is no need to get an NOC from your college to request a transcript.
Do not go for attestation, simply request for the original transcript. You can also apply for it online by signing up on the portal of PTU, uploading all necessary documents, and paying the respective charges.

You can definitely leave your college after the first year of B.Tech.
You can also migrate to another PTU college. But there are some conditions for that. One of them is that you must have cleared all your subjects in the first year. I would recommend you consult your college staff for details on the migration process. Additionally, do visit the official PTU website for rules and regulations on migration.

It is absolutely fine, given that you did both your grad and post grad from PTU. The process of WES evaluation has changed for PTU. You can no longer send the documents on your own. Only the university can send your transcripts.

Can migration be done if a student has one supply in PTU?

Yes, you can migrate even with a supply at PTU. For this, you need to get an NOC from your college. This is the most important task. After that, you need to file a migration request at PTU. You’ll be charged around Rs. 10,000. After this process, you can migrate to your new college.

Does NSIT Dwarka and PTU allow lateral entry in civil engineering?

Lateral entry is not applicable for government engineering colleges that follow the JAC Delhi admission process. So NSUT does not allow lateral entry for any of the B.Tech branches, including Civil.
On the other hand, PTU has the provision of lateral entry into Civil Engineering. But the requirement for the same is a polytechnic diploma in Civil.

Under the general merit-based IKGPTU Scholarship Scheme: for UG courses (including B.Sc, B.Sc Food Technology), if you secure high marks in the qualifying exam (like 10+2), you may get a tuition-fee waiver. There are also government / need-based/ reserved-category schemes (for SC/ST/OBC etc.), and sometimes “freeship” or fee waiver schemes for economically weaker students
Candidates seeking admission must apply online through the official website to take part in the admission process. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks secured by candidates in the Entrance Examination. The provisional and final merit list will be displayed on its official website. Applicants will be called for the counselling process as per the merit list. Seat Allotment will be entirely based on the merit list and availability of seats. After seat allotment, candidates will have to report to the college for document verification and payment of Academic fees. Admissions to all the courses are carried out strictly on the merit of the entrance test basis either through the Centralized Counselling Procedure or at the Institute level.
