How are the placements at I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University Jalandhar?

Campus placements are moderate and usually starts from the 7th Semester . A few Service based Companies visit with average packages of 3-4 Lpa . Around 40 - 50 % students get placed. I plan to upskill and pursue higher studies or better job opportunities

i can talk about college placement till now in my college, as far as i have seen, placement start after the 2nd year of BCA and 3rd year of B.tech, but first there is atest and interview. if the one who gets good marks in the paper will be selected for the next interview, otherwise he will not be selected. in my college, B.tech students get more placement because the get intership in ther last semester, though which they get placements too. till now, B.tech students have been able to placement and otherwise Bca students have did not place by college placement you will own search by non-campus placement

Placements start from 6th Semesters, Companies, like TCS, Infosys, Wipro visit. Average package is Rs. 3.5 LPA, with the highest at Rs. 7 LPA. Around 70 percent of student get placed. I plan to pursue higher studies or work in AI/ML after graduation.

If you are that able to option out for a good job profile off campus, only then you should risk your 4 years in this collage otherwise there are. A total of 10 to 12 companies at all coming every year to provide training to the students in which most of the time the collage takes commisions About the after graduating placement if u r an IT person they will try to offer you a marketing job, total trash

From 6th semester companies are started to coming in the campus. The companies like infosys, tata, Sonalika, Cognizant, oocl, hike education,L&T etc . The average package is 6-7lpa & highest package is 63lpa off campus in Microsoft and in campus is 21lpa.
