Solid Campus, Supportive Faculty and Predictable Academics

The faculty–student ratio is decent and most teachers are approachable if you actually ask doubts. A few of them explain concepts clearly and take the effort to make topics easier, especially in core subjects. The relationship between students and faculty stays formal but supportive, and you can reach out after class or during lab hours without feeling hesitant. There are always a few strict ones, but that’s normal in any engineering college

Honestly, faculty here is kinda mixed — our faculty-to-student ratio is roughly like 1:25–30, so sometimes classes feel a bit crowded, but most teachers are actually pretty approachable if you catch them after class or in their cabins; still, they won’t chase you, you have to go yourself. In CSE, I personally liked Mamta and Anita ma’am for DSA because she explains logic in a very simple way and actually gives real coding examples, and Arun sir for OS because he treats students casually and doesn’t act strict for no reason. On the flip side, I never vibed with Rohit sir for DBMS because his teaching felt too theory-heavy and he rushed through topics, and Kaur ma’am for Maths used to give surprise assignments that felt pointless. Course structure is the usual PTU style — theory + labs every semester, some subjects feel outdated but core CSE stuff like DSA, OS, CN, DBMS, AI, ML etc. are relevant. Exam system is also typical PTU: two sessionals + final end-sem, and most students clear exams unless someone literally doesn’t study (maybe 10–15% struggle in Maths or COA). Overall, exams aren’t very tough, they’re more memory-based, but labs and assignments matter for internals, so if you manage those, passing isn’t a big deal.

Each 20 students had a faculty mentor from we can approach. I like Ajay Sir because of their helping nature. I don't like English Subject Sir because of their selfish behaviour. There are 2 mid sem exams and 1 final sem exam in a semester.60% of students fail in exam.

the faculty of our college is really good and helpful especially in the first year they provide notes and if anyone needs help they ate ready to explain things there are two mid sem exams whose avg is addrd in the internals and one end sem exam which is of 60 marks you get plenty of time to prepare

faculties are really helpfull if i talk about they support in every aspects of student facing any problem related their health issues , exam queries and having much needfull environment so overall faculty experience is good. the Faculty name is Ms kawalpreet kaur she taught me operating system in my academics she was really helpfull and having good supportive nature. There is no faculty i remeber that i didn't like everyone is Good. Especially The mathematics 3 is more tough than expected it was hard to manage the calculation in this particular subject.

1) I am Btech civil engineering student of 3rd year. 2) Faculty to student ratio is good its around 1:30 3) Professors teach very well during tutorial classes where students are less as compared to normal classes but in classes they dont teach good as tutorial classes . Tutorial classes are basically to clear doubts. They are help once a week for every subject. 4)Professor Varinder singh I liked the most due to the way he interacts with student in class along with his real life examples while teaching. 5)I cannot write the name of professor whom i dont like due to privacy concers but i will explain the reasons as the professor only explain from PPT . so i dont like this style of teaching it makes classroom boring. 6)Examinations are easy as i mentioned earlier also, still amny students fails as they dont study.

I dislike physics teacher because student don't know what they teach

Facilities member like jagdeep sir is very good teacher because if they teach anything student take proper care and fully respect and trust. But physics teacher is not good because student not understand topic and what they teach student don't know and here math teacher is also best teacher because she is a genius teacher because they everything teach in good way. And pd teacher is also good and engineering graphics teacher is not good because there teaching process I not like.

The faculty of the college is very nice guys. The teach the as well as guide and mentor the students one by one. The college 100 marks exam pattern 40% of the comes from internal source like attendence, activites, assignment and 60% of marks includes from final exam.
