Course Curriculum Overview

- the curriculam was updated as per the latest market trends - it prepared me well to get a job and a internship as well - they should work on AI and ML too - the frequency was of every 6 months for the semester exams

Placement Experience

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees was 60,000 Total fees per semester was 30,000 The fees for my SC ST friends were less then mine like 15000 per semester They provide financial aids as well There are labs also for learning. Where students can learn.

Campus Life

My overall campus life experience at Sri Sukhmani College was positive and supportive. The college organized annual cultural and technical events every year usually held between Feb and April. Which encouraged students interaction and participation

Admission

I chose SSPC because they provide quality education under a budget friendly and affordable cost and good faculty support as well compared to other colleges out there and also the admission process is simple as well.

Faculty

50 students under 1 faculty, faculty members were good and having a great knowledge , anju mam HEad of department, renu mam from ECE branch - Suri - dean he is always angry and dont know how to talk - PC beheki - he also dont know how to talk - Exams are like sememsrer exams every 6 momyhs, out of 50- 40 passed the exam Couse curriculam was relevant as well

Night Life

The nightlife is mostly calm and disciplined. Campus facilities such as sports club, park, gym, canteen and academics blocks and workshops and libraries close in the evening. And common areas usually close around 9:30 pm to 10:00 pm, Hostels timings are strict and safe

Placement are decent.Many companies visit the campus,but getting a good package depends on your skills and performance.Teh university also provides training support. Some companies like Deloitte,nexity consulting,Bigbasket,zepto etc visited are campus.

Average placements for the college. As for the good stduents and competitive students companies r coming and they get internships and jobs . Companies like Deloitte, Adobe , Playsimple. Scalar AI labs , LG etc .Good Stsrtup and well knowed companies gave placements .

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to go in construction industry so i chose this field. 2) Currently our college curriculum is updated so its relevant i will say around 70 to 80% . 3) For improvement Faculties should be brought from all over india as professors here are only concentrated from ludhiana itself. and labs are very old it should be upgraded. 5) In a semester there are 2 monthly exams and one end semester exam. 6) As far as difficuly level of exam is concerned it is not much difficult if someone solved PYQ thoroughly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in computer science so I choose this course to learn programing how the code works in computer. Student ratio is 22 in class. Teacher are well qulified and there teaching method is easy to understand. There two term exam in 6 months and these exam is not difficult

Firstly, I applied for Chitkara University but the seats are full , So, then I take step to be a part of sri sukhmani institue of engineering college, Derabassi. I go to visit the college on 22th of July 2016. I have listen alot about this college so I decided to take admission. My classes started from 5th July 2016. First 2 semester its all good, timely classes, timely practicals, but after 1-year teachers were not focused on students, not taking classes properly. As I opt for CSE, only c and c++ programming language practice is done in college no other programming language focuses in college. And one major cons about this college, if you not submit the next semester fees before the presently semester exams then you should not be allowed to sit in the exam which I thought the worst. After 5th semester I take nonattending from the college and go to the institute to learn the higher programming language as in college they not taking classes of that....Read More
