CCET Chandigarh Admission Dates 2026

CCET Chandigarh BE admissions for the 2026-27 batch are conducted through JAC Chandigarh (Joint Admission Committee), which centralises admissions for all government engineering colleges in Chandigarh. Admission is based on JEE Main 2026 scores and Chandigarh domicile / All India quota seats.

CCET Chandigarh Courses and Fees

CCET Chandigarh offers four BE branches and corresponding lateral entry programmes, plus PhD research in four disciplines. As a government college under the UT Administration, fees are regulated and significantly lower than private engineering colleges in the region.

BE Admission

CCET Chandigarh BE admissions are conducted through the JAC Chandigarh centralised counselling. Candidates who have qualified JEE Main 2026 must register on the JAC Chandigarh portal (jacchd.admissions.nic.in) and participate in the choice-filling and allotment process. Minimum eligibility is 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST).

• Chandigarh domicile candidates are eligible for both Chandigarh Quota and All India Quota seats. Non-Chandigarh candidates are eligible only for All India Quota seats.
• Seat matrix: Each branch has an intake of 60 seats, with horizontal reservations as per Chandigarh UT norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/EWS categories.
• JAC Chandigarh typically conducts 4 to 5 rounds of allotment followed by a spot round. Candidates must report to CCET for document verification and fee payment after each allotment.

JAC Chandigarh 2026 closing ranks for CCET varied by branch. CSE is the most competitive branch, with general-category closing ranks typically in the 4,000 to 10,000 JEE Main range. Civil Engineering closing ranks fall in the 30,000 to 60,000 range for Chandigarh domicile candidates.

Lateral Entry BE

Diploma holders in relevant disciplines may apply for BE Lateral Entry (3-year) through the JAC Chandigarh Lateral counselling process. Intake is proportional to the main BE batch. Candidates must have completed a 3-year Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline with at least 45% marks.

CCET Chandigarh Placements
