The c the college full of opportunities and yet to be explore

Likes

I like the coding culture of my college and also the VLSI lab of my college.
The seniors of my college are very help as they help us with everything from studies to sports.
I also like the college life which is very lively as a date is interaction between every year students without any you know ragging etc and the clubs of my college are very good inter College have good infrastructure.

Dislikes

I dislike on the first year professor as they are not very helpful
I also dislike the sports faculty as they do not provide the equipment for playing sports where do we have to arrange it for ourself

Admission:

I have applied for Jack Chandigarh counselling so I get ccet through the rank I got in JEE mains I was also getting mechanical in uiet Chandigarh but the ECE department of ccet have you know have recent placement ratio of 85% which is higher than CSE or any other branch that are in ccet and ECE department teacher you know they are motivate the student for research field and also provide some research institute

There are only limited number of sultudents
Faculty is very well experienced and supporting
Labs are well equipped with the experimenta kits and compurters

Admission:

The college is situated in chandigarh vip area and it is also near to the sukhna lake which is a tourist attraction. The admission process is through JAC councelling. The admision is on the baisis of JEE mains rank. I live in chandigarh and this college is also in chandigarh thats why i choose this college

placement of college and also internship opportunities
Teachers give good guidance for future and also support brave students
sports facilities in this are very nice like we have good basketball court

Dislikes

canteen of this college is very disgusting and over priced
infrastructure is decent because of low 0 maintainance

Admission:

The admission process was very time-consuming as it lasted for more than a month but it was ok and the admissions are based on JEE mains all india rank score. The applications are filled in the JAC Chandigarh website as they conduct the counseling. The exam was quite difficult to clear.

This college as a very affordable fee structure. Faculity members are very supportive of the students.
Our college several clubs that provides students with exposure outside of the college and have them grow their talents.
The infrastructure of the colleges is decent enough and it is situated in Sector 26 , Chandigarh so students can take advantage of nearby placesalso

Dislikes

Placements in civil branch is not up to the mark.
The administration is very slow and not supportive of the students especially the hostel have a lot of problems.
Area inside the campus is not utilise properly and there is a lot of empty space which is not being used properly.

Admission:

There is no 75% criteria in board exams to take admission in this college. Admission to this college is through JAC counselling and through JEE Mains channel. All the necessary documents in need to get admission in this college are provided on the JAC admission website. 85% of the seats are reserved under the home state Quota and rest 15 percent is for other states

Likes

Academic fees is very less as compared to other govt institutes in Chandigarh or in other big cities.
If you have got CSE in this college through your jee mains rank then you have big opportunities to crack and also there are a lot of internships provided by the college.
There are several clubs in the college for music, dance, acting, robotics, photography and editing etc. So you can get a lot of exposure and you can follow your passion side by side.

Dislikes

As a hosteller, I can say that the condition is not too good. You'll enjoy hostel life a lot but the hygiene is not very well maintained
There are some teachers in the college that are selfish. You'll not get marks from them easily.
The ground is not well maintained. So you'll face some problems in playing sports or any other games.

Admission:

Okay so for getting admission in Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology Sector 26 Chandigarh 1st you have to give JEE mains exam for that exam you have to attempts in a year provided by NTA. After giving JEE mains exam you have to apply for Jack Chandigarh counselling that takes place after the JEE mains result has been declared they are total free rounds for that Chandigarh counselling and after the three rounds there are some rounds for spot rounds. If you are looking to get admission in computer science or electronics plans then you have to achieve at least 5260000 rank in JEE mains if you come from general quota and other state there is 85% reservation for students that are in Chandigarh and 15% for other state quota. So as another state quota student and as a hostess and as a computer science student I would recommend you to achieve at least 50000 to 60000 rank if you are looking for CSE or electronics branch in our college.

Better college than private ones in the region. Great college

Likes

Its a government college, which is better than any other private institutions
Widely renowned in India as well as overseas due to Punjab University
Time for other competitive exams and an option to go overseas

Dislikes

Very less strictness is there. Quality of teaching is very poor
Limited extra curricular activities despite being such huge campus
Campus land can be utilised better in terms of infrastructure

Admission:

Eligibilty of the course is just you should have given JEE MAINS exam. Application is through the JAC Counselling. Cutoff for CSE is approximately 92% with home state quota No reservation is availed by me The application process is extremely smooth and hassle-free

CCET- an decent college if you want to learn and discover yourself along with knowledge

Likes

Fee structure is quite affordable according to a central government college
Teachers work hard to make you study and understand
The college is central location of Chandigarh which is easily accessible and easy to travel

Dislikes

Just like any other government office,the working here is slow and inefficient
Mostly students are local residents, so the facilities for outsiders or hostellers are poor
Poor management and facilities for Students and hostellers. Even fests are not regular and teachers are rude

Admission:

Firstly,one should have appeared and scored decent marks in JEE MAINS and have to apply through JAC CHANDIGARH counselling and opt for this college. And should have 50% or above in 12th The application for gets out around after JEE MAINS session 2 and can be found on google easily. One can avail reservations like ST,SC,EWS,Tuition fee waiver,etc. The cutoffs are somewhat decent. I had 109000 rank and got ECE here

Chandigarh College Of Engineering And Technology REVIEW

Likes

The college clubs are very active, especially the photography club.
CCET college fest, Apratim, was fantastic! It happened for two days and had so many fun competitions and events
Most of the teachers tried to complete their syllabus.

Dislikes

The college canteen should be open regularly.
More numbers of working equipment should be available in the labs.

Admission:

The admission was granted based on the JEE rank. The candidate had to apply for counselling conducted by JAC (Joint Admission Committee) Chandigarh. I secured a seat in the ECE branch in the final round of counselling.

placement are pretty nice in our college
course that is being taught is just same as IITs follow so the content we get is also cool
the tech fest is also nice the competition are also held in our college that is also cool

Dislikes

the campus is small in size but new wing are in development phase
The faculty is very strict when it comes to the assignment.
The administrative cell is so slow in working

Admission:

For Entrance, Students must give JEE mains a score rank at most 75000 for getting computer science. for other branches, it goes till 3 lakhs rank in jee mains. Then there is special counseling for Chandigarh colleges named JAC in which colleges of only Chandigarh take part. I filled out forms for JAC and in the first round only I got computer science. in Chandigarh, there are 3 categories only i.e. SC, ST, and OPEN. I was under the open category. the admission process is pretty fine no such rush. But documents are verified thoroughly.

Fees are also less as compared to other colleges. There are many benefits for sc and st students
Campus Life is very enjoyable.
All the faculty staff is very helpful and polite.

Admission:

It was simple. The staff was very good & helpful. The admission process was smooth. Just need to jee to enter this college whose percentile is seen while admitting students in college. jac counselling is also required. One can find all information on jac chandigarh website as well as ccet website.
