CCET is a government engineering college under the Chandigarh Administration. It offers B.E. programs in multiple disciplines. About 85% of its seats are reserved for Chandigarh Home State candidates. The 15% Other State seats at CCET CSE are highly competitive — the 2025 Other State closing rank (36,805) was tighter than even UIET CSE’s (54,934) because fewer seats exist in the Other State pool. Dr. SSBUICET offers a unique 5-year Integrated B.E. + MBA program in Chemical Engineering — the only program of its kind under JAC Chandigarh. Graduates receive both a Panjab University engineering degree and an MBA. UIET Hoshiarpur (PUSSGRC) is a regional centre of Panjab University; its closing ranks are generally less competitive than UIET main campus, offering a Panjab University degree to candidates in the 1–3 lakh rank range.
