About Sardar Beant Singh State University
Beant College of Engineering & Technology (BCET), Gurdaspur was established by the Government of Punjab in 1995 as an autonomous Institution through registered society. The college is affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar and recognized by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Punjab. It is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The vision of the college is to grow and develop the technical professional who can fulfill national and international aspirations. The mission of the college is to create a work culture in order to nurture the spirit of innovation and hard work for wholesome learning and knowledge updation. The college is situated 4 kilometers from Gurdaspur bus stand and 2 kilometers from the railway station, Pathankot is 35 km and Amritsar is 75 km from the college campus.

NSS - The college has 06 NSS unit with capacity of 100 students each. It organises various activities like blood donation camp, cleanliness camp, tree plantation programs etc. throughout the year.
NCC - The college has a 01 NCC unit which works with aim of developing qualities of character, courage, comradeship, leadership and sportsmanship among students. It organises various activities like trekking, drill training, youth exchange programmes and sports training etc.throughout the year.

I chosen this collage because collage is near to my home and out of city students can make bus pass to save their travelling money . Moreover you can also get scholarships in that college . SC low income students can study in 2000 only

our college offers very simple and easy admission process and the curriculum is also very good and easy for future job opportunities i opted for this college because it is close to my home and it is the only state university of the region

I had applied in many colleges which were also good but for some reasons i choose this college..first of all other colleges were too far from my house where i am leaving and those colleges which i had applied was expensive comparing to this college and i don't wanna go there

Admission process was pretty decent. One must have score good grades in class 12 th . U can find the applicationform and fees structure on official website of college. Thereis also no entrance exam conducted.

One must have completed+2 non medical. Had also taken jee mains exam. U can contact college for admission process. For obc and general admission fees is 10,000 and for Sc and st the admission fees is only 5000

- As I was not a resident of Punjab, I couldn't avail the scholarship program
Admission:
Admission through JEE mains. After that I have done Punjab state counselling based on the JEE rank. Application form can be found on the college website. As it is a State Govt University, fees are less. Reservation benifits was not availed by me. Admission process can be improved further in a smooth hassle-free way.

Admission:
The candidates who have passed two years certificate course from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (SLIET) shall be eligible. Passed the 10+2 examination from a board recognized and obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of Candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subject taken together. The application can be found on the website, Available on google or manually users and visit University. Manually admission is also available
Admission:
I took the JEE-MAINS Exam. The eligibility for the exam was 12th class with Non-Medical. You can find out the application form on the official website. After completing the first exam you have to clear the JEE-Advance exam.
Admission:
During my time the selection process was on the based of JEE rank. I applied through the councelling and got the seat for mechanical engineering. Currently they are also providing the seats on the bass of +2 marks

Yes, Sardar Beant Singh State University, Gurdaspur offers the MSc in environmental science is available. Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree obtained through their Graduation or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 55% or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India. A Relaxation of 5% aggregate is there for SC/ST candidates.
