Beant College of Engineering & Technology, Gurdaspur was established by the Govt. of Punjab as an autonomous Institution through registered society. The foundation stone was laid on February 28,1994.
The college is imparting education in the Engineering disciplines of Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology & Mechanical Engineering at undergraduate level and Thermal Engineering, Production Engineering , Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering at Post graduate level.
Admission in B.Tech is done through JEE Mains and for M.Tech, eligible candidates will have to appear in GATE/NET.

The college offers Master of Technology (M.Tech) and Master of Science (M.Sc) at postgraduate level in five different specializations for a duration of two years. The number of seats depends upon the nature of specializations opted by the candidates.
The admission to M.Tech. programmes will be on the basis of valid GATE/NET Score in appropriate discipline/branch. If seats remain vacant, the candidates without GATE/NET score may also be considered as per guidelines of PTU Jalandhar/Punjab Govt.

I chosen this collage because collage is near to my home and out of city students can make bus pass to save their travelling money . Moreover you can also get scholarships in that college . SC low income students can study in 2000 only

our college offers very simple and easy admission process and the curriculum is also very good and easy for future job opportunities i opted for this college because it is close to my home and it is the only state university of the region
I had applied in many colleges which were also good but for some reasons i choose this college..first of all other colleges were too far from my house where i am leaving and those colleges which i had applied was expensive comparing to this college and i don't wanna go there
Admission process was pretty decent. One must have score good grades in class 12 th . U can find the applicationform and fees structure on official website of college. Thereis also no entrance exam conducted.

One must have completed+2 non medical. Had also taken jee mains exam. U can contact college for admission process. For obc and general admission fees is 10,000 and for Sc and st the admission fees is only 5000

Admission through JEE mains. After that I have done Punjab state counselling based on the JEE rank. Application form can be found on the college website. As it is a State Govt University, fees are less. Reservation benifits was not availed by me. Admission process can be improved further in a smooth hassle-free way.

The candidates who have passed two years certificate course from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (SLIET) shall be eligible. Passed the 10+2 examination from a board recognized and obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of Candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subject taken together. I took the JEE-MAINS Exam. The eligibility for the exam was 12th class with Non-Medical. You can find out the application form on the official website. After completing the first exam you have to clear the JEE-Advance exam.
During my time the selection process was on the based of JEE rank. I applied through the councelling and got the seat for mechanical engineering. Currently they are also providing the seats on the bass of +2 marks
