Lateral entry is not applicable for government engineering colleges that follow the JAC Delhi admission process. So NSUT does not allow lateral entry for any of the B.Tech branches, including Civil.

Campus placements are moderate and usually starts from the 7th Semester . A few Service based Companies visit with average packages of 3-4 Lpa . Around 40 - 50 % students get placed. I plan to upskill and pursue higher studies or better job opportunities

The faculty to student ratio in my college is approximately 1:30 which allows reasonable interaction between students and teachers . Overall the faculty - student relationship is professional and supportive.

Campus Life is balanced with academics and activities. Annual Cultural and technical fests are held yearly , usually in spring . The library has adequate books and journals , classrooms are well equipped , and sports clubs are well developed

Hostel Rooms are shared with basic amenities and Wi-Fi. Mess food is average with a fixed menu but you can ask for simple food if you are sick. hostel registrations are simple and affordable. Some prefer PGs near Kapurthala Chowk for more freedom.
