The average placement is good for approx 4.5 lacs per annum. Teachers and other faculty members are very good. They will provide you with much exposure to develop your skill in any area.

Students become eligible for placements when they are in 3rd year of college. There are hundreds of companies that visited our campus, to name a few I would mention Unschool, Tetoota, Xebia, HCL, Odessa, Infosys, ZS, Udaan, Amazon, Cerner, HP, Dell, Siemens, Coviam, Delloite, Barclays and many more. On average, each company made an offer for more than 10 students at least. The highest package during my placement year was 32 lakh in Microsoft. The percentage of people getting placed is higher than 85%. Talking about my plan, I landed a job in Coviam Technologies with 7.5 lakh CTC.

The students can apply for placements from the 7th semester. Around 300 companies visit the campus for placements including tata TCS, Amazon web services, byjus, verzeo, etc. The highest package last year was 42 LPA and the lowest can be estimated to be 3 LPA. Almost everyone gets placed, some of them have their own startups, some go for higher studies. I plan to get a job in an IT firm after the completion of my degree.

SRM provides decent placements and internships with an average package of 5-6 Lakhs ( Main Campus).3. SRM itself is a brand because of its popularity.Bad aspects of SRM : The college is centralized AC but there are no facilities for ground , so no physical activities.Reasons of preferring this college over others as SRM provides decent placements and getting into this college is not too hard. You can easily get Computer Science stream if you have a good rank.

Placements play a crucial role in college selection so here is the truth placement is nearly 100% but never 100% either on or off-campus. All the top-notch companies from Amazon to Paytm provides various packages ranging from 6 lacs per annum to 40 lacs per annum. Companies like Microsoft, Facebook and big tech giant always offer dream offers of 12 lacs and above packages. Then companies like Infosys, cognizant and Accenture offer good packages and are the mass recruiters in the offer of 3 lacs per annum and above. The internship fair is being organised every end semester with all the different opportunities. Internship opportunities are also there followed by hackathons and various tech and non-tech competitions.
