Remarks

Chemical engineering field and the faculty present there. The counselling given was also great and this gave us an insight about how the course will be. Moreover I had issues regarding getting admission from local university and hence this is a great option for students who did not complete their 12 th standard in Tamil Nadu.

Course Curriculum Overview

Its really great! Also we have a great set of electives that we can choose from. The Course is also well designed. We have ample amount of lab access and the faculty is extremely supportive and encourages you to take up research.

I was offered an internship in IIT MADRAS and it was great. There are others from my department who got into companies like reliance and got a pre placement offer too.

Placement Experience

The placements are really great. There are a lot of mass recruiters as well as other companies that come in for placements. The superset portal used for this is really good. The highest package was from Microsoft and usually the Cse people get a better package than others. The core placements in other departments completely depend on your skill and technical knowledge.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes! I received a whole years fee as scholarship as well as a department merit scholarship so there are many opportunities! It totally depends on the hard work. On campus jobs are not supported but we can definitely take up a paid internship and the college doesnt stop you from doing that.

Campus Life

The campus is really good for all kinds of tech as well as non tech related opportunities. There are two major fests and you can be a part of the organising committee or participate. Also there are a lot of department organised events.

The Student Life at SRM IST

I am a dropper, I got 75k something rank but that year cutoff for the colleges in Delhi skyrocketed for general category like nothing before. So I didn't get any college in Delhi, took a drop and applied then here at this college and Amity University Noida.
