- We have facilities similar or rather better than that of IIT Madras.

- Well, somehow commuting as metro station is also a little far and college buses also run on their own time.
Course Curriculum Overview
I felt AI is largely going to take over but correct usage and proper usecase of that is important and therefore I took this course. After lockdown scenario has changed and one has to catch up and that is what I have done by choosing the correct course as AI is a large part of our curriculum and we are taught by some of the best on the planet.
Internships Opportunities
From Tech Mahindra to Infosys nearly 50 students get to intern at these top companies. I also have been placed at Honeywell after 4th semester exams. For an internship of 5 weeks a stiped of 12k is what is offered to me in their Bangalore Office.
Placement Experience
Placements are amazing as getting 10,20, or even 50 lakhs from our college is like no big deal. Last year two CSE students got package worth 55 and 60 lakhs at Microsoft and Amazon respective. From Indian to Global tech companies everyone believes in our college students.
Fees and Financial Aid
SRMIST Chennai is an amazing college which is one of the pioneer institute of SRM University one has to pay 2.6 Lakhs every year. It's slightly higher than some or rather most colleges but if one compares it with private colleges or universities it is in line with them. Hence fees can't be termed high but it's not affordable for all as well.
Campus Life
Milan is the largest gathering of SRM University as entire campus participate in that. Departmental fests are different and every year a new name and new theme is provided. Our campus has some of the best hangout places as there's a shopping complex inside and also some good cafeteria and coffeshop as well.
Admission
I just wanted to study at SRM University and therefore I didn't look right or left at all. SRM University is largest private university atleast in Tamil Nadu and SRMIST being the most prominent college of the university, i ensured that my parents agree to it and I also obliged by clearing the entrance exams.
Faculty
IIT Madras simipar quality faculties is what we have. During guest faculty sessions, we have seen faculties of various colleges including IIY Madras and our faculties are at par or in my words better than them. Look like I am praising too much but fact remains fact that our faculties are at par with any faculties colleges in India at least.
Night Life
Our college is a green hub as soon much humidity in Chennai but staying inside our college during college hours is what I do. There's a gym in our college and also recreation facilities like nobody else.
