Course Curriculum Overview
the curriculumn is good and well versed. but the timeline allocated for covering all the topics is not really realistic as students don't get time to go in depth. the timing for internal exams are 1-1.5hrs sem exams lasts 3hrs
Placement Experience
the placements start from third year. there are multiple oncampus companies that visited like juspay,zs associates, cognizant,accenture,capegemini and etc. the average package is aroung 5,00,000 the percentage of student is around 60-70 around this year but its still going on by this march.
Fees and Financial Aid
sem fees per year was around 2,50,000 book fees is 15,000 cdc is 25,000 after this base fees there might be broke fees for lab arund 150-500, entertainment fees 1500 there might be rank based concession for top students
Campus Life
the texus fest is conducted annually multiple other fests and events happen monthly. the range of books and journals is low in the library the facilitites in class are projectors and smart boards. there are multiple non tech and tech clubs present which are great for networking.
Admission
i applied to vit got in but chose srm as it is nearer to the city. i didn't apply to lot of college because i had low pcm cutoff the process is simple either counselling or exam srmjee depending on rank you can get concession.
Faculty
1:70 is the facultyto student ratio the faculty you get depends on the luck you have. if you have a chill faculty you are good to go and mind your work. there are suprise tests and two internal exams before the semester.
Night Life
the curfew is kind of strict so the nightlife is around till 9pm max but if you are not living in college hostel you are free toroam and return whenver you wish. the famous hangout spots are tea shops and restaurants nearby
