Kamala Nehru College BA {Hons.} English: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The fees structure is relatively simple. There is a security deposit that is returned to you after you complete the course and annual payments of around 13,000 are made. There is a dedicated placement cell which invites companies to provide on-campus jobs.

The annual fees of the honors courses range between 8k-12k, which needs to be submitted during the odd semesters. The college provides an ample amount of time to submit the fee and also has a systematic schedule to do so. The placement cell of the college really works hard to bring placements and internships to the students, especially the final year students. The internships prove to be really helpful and also provide a good stipend. Talking about the placements, if a student is able to crack the interview processes, then their starting salary could possibly range from 3-6.5 LPA. There is a scholarship program as well for the deserving students and financial assistance for the caste reservations.

The fee structure is very reasonable and affordable. Fees differed from course to course and for B. A (Hons) English it was around 8000-10,000 Rs per year. There are several scholarship options available for students from low-income groups and quotas however there are no campus jobs available. The college has a well-functioning placement cell that facilitates interactions of students with possible employers.

The fee was consistent throughout the three-year graduation. No hike was done and the fees were not very high either. The scholarships were available on the basis of merit and the performance of the student across academics and extracurricular. I didn't apply for placements but the companies that came were really good.

The course curriculum changes every alternate years or so which provides students a better understanding and makes learning fun. The faculty is great, teachers are really helpful and provide us with reading materials and suggests extra reading in case any. They understand the students and don't focus on academics alone.

The fee is really affordable. Being a government college, it doesn't really have fees hikes as often.

The fees of government colleges are generally very low. 9500 for a year is pretty affordable. The cost of the books altogether is 1100 to 2000 which is affordable too. The extra materials are circulated by the teachers in a pdf form or in a print-out form. I didn't get any scholarship, financial assistance and job as such.

Teaching faculty is good Being a very old building it has a great infrastructure Furniture is moderate Spatial capacity of classes are not that good In BA English honours there's a teacher named SUSAN THOMAS is great.

It think the course quite easy and with feet season, you can easily maintain it. It contains only 4 exams, 2 core subject, one AECC / EVS and one GE. GE is a general elective paper you can pursue from DU apart from your core sub

The course syllabus is upto date and yes i was provided enough exposure. The faculty of my course is the best one can have all the teachers are really nice and they treat us good and help us whenever we need it. They try to stay in touch even when they have stopped teaching us.
