The roles offered are very limited like content writing, graphic designing and are mostly startups. The internships are mostly unpaid. The selection criteria is not very intense so it builds confidence and it's a very good learning experience.

The placement cell of my college is very active and works a lot to bring companies to our college for placement opportunities to students but most small companies come who are quite new and most students of commerce background get the placement or internship opportunities and it's very hard for students of humanities background to get a good placement or internship.
Companies like Wipro, and HTC provides internship along with a stipend of around 10k. I haven't done any internships till now so I won't be able to share my experience but I applied for one and its joining is after a month.
Students can apply for placements in the third year. Companies like KPMG, EY, and PwC came and took around 100 students collectively. The highest package till now was 7LPA. The average package is 3LPA. Around 100 companies come every year and almost 60 per cent of students get placed through college placement,
Internships offered by companies such as gobare foot, oppo, grow up, guby rovers, one four seven, and many others. There are different varieties of profile offered such as content writing, graphic designing, human resource manager, business executive intern etc with stipend rate starting from INR5000 to INR15000.
