Remarks

The college is an A star college and also ranked under 100 in the NIRF. The admission process was quite simple. The forms were filled online and the cut-offs were matched, we then filled the college and college id form. The college campus isn't quite impressive but it ranks amongst the best colleges of DU. My college also ranks 6th for the English honours course. Career360 and collegedunia helped me a lot in choosing my college

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I want to pursue journalism and therefore opted for English honors. Kamla Nehru college gives the option of choosing journalism as your minor subject. The student-faculty ratio isn't fixed. The teachers are super friendly and helpful. They provide their numbers and socials in case we want to reach out to them. The exams are a little hard as the university sets the questions but our teachers make sure we attempt and understand every question.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The placement cell of our college is really active. The companies that offer internships are MyCaptain, FlairBoat, etc. The tasks involve content writing, finance, and marketing.

Placement Experience

3.5

Students are eligible for the placements from the second year itself. Companies that come to our college are FlairBoat, Wipro to name a few. The max package offered varies from 3 to 6 lakhs. Many students opt for further studies so the placement percentage is around 57. I plan to study further and won't be settling for a job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is really affordable. Being a government college, it doesn't really have fees hikes as often.

Campus Life

3.5

DU is known for its fests. We have fests every year in the month of Feb and march and also the time before Diwali. In Feb every department has its own fests. The library is quite equipped with course books and reference books amongst many others. The college has its own football team and NSA as well. There are societies and an unofficial queer collective too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose political science because i want to go for government exams and political science is an important subject for clearing government exams As per my info, my curriculum is very close to syllabus for exams like UPSC and SSC For improving teaching methods, projectors should be installed and implemented as it helps us to understand and see it more better The frequency of exam is twice a year as semester exam, and exam is not very tough nor too easy, it is medium level that anyone can score good marks if studied well.
