- The building is very old school typa and very peaceful
- The amphitheatre is so calming, I go there whenever I get stressed
- The auditorium looks like a pvr. The audio is so good and audi is cool most of the time

- The washrooms are a bit unhygienic . The washrooms mirror is too dirty
- The classrooms become too hot. Fans are too slow
- The chairs are a bit weak. And some classrooms don't have a lot of chairs
Course Curriculum Overview
Sometimes classes gets cancelled which results in loss of time but still they try their best to cover the syllabus the curriculum is easy. Du did it's job well. It's interesting and understandable if we put in efforts.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fee for BA (Hons) Economics at Kamala Nehru College is around 10,890 for the first year and 9,290 for the next two years, totalling approximately 29,470. SC/ST students pay a reduced fee (around 1,500–2,000/year), and PwD students often get full fee waivers.
Campus Life
There are events very often, for diff society. Annual fest, the ullas, diwali mela, departmental fest. The sports are very good The football team, cricket and other sports are encouraged. Women development cell is also there
Admission
I got into DCAC and ramanujan college . But then I got into knc and selected this as it is a south campus college with a good rating as well. I liked the atmosphere. And the college is naac accredited A+
Faculty
The faculty-student ratio is good, and most professors are approachable and helpful. The Economics Department has knowledgeable teachers who simplify tough concepts. I personally liked Dr. Seema Sharma and Dr. Radhika Singh for their engaging classes and clear explanations. The course structure is divided into core, generic elective, AECC, and SEC papers, with CBCS system. There are internal assessments (10 marks) and semester-end exams (90 marks). Exams are manageable with proper preparation; most students pass, though 1–2 may have backlogs. The curriculum is relevant but could use more practical exposure and updated readings.
Night Life
Gym is currently not in run but will be soon. The canteen is the best in whole north campus. The cafeteria serves the best ice tea. Amphitheatre is a fav hangout spot. Library feels like oxford . Sofar the best
