- As per my liking, the faculties are the best and supportive.
- The college campus has a peaceful ambience which makes it unique from other colleges of DU. Ot makes you feel calm around lots of greenery.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure needs improvement. Though, it is in progress, we hope next batch will get better infrastructure loke big rooms amd wifi.
Course Curriculum Overview
Comparing the course from past decades, it is more comprehensive. Now we have SEC , VAC also. These subjects help us to learn more about practicality, like financial literacy, digital marketing, etc. My core papers are now more engaging too.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are widely explored. Recently, deloite came up with internship and 40 students were enrolled . Our college host drives on regular basis for internships with companies and also with government officials like swacchh bharat for providing internships. Internships are available from 1st year itself.
Placement Experience
We have placement cell in our college for this purpose. They look into the matters of placement. Placement is open for everyone regardless of their yrar or semester. Though, eligibility may differ from companies to companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Kamala Nehra College, University of Delhi, ranks 36 on NIRF rank. About the fee structure, ot is paid annually. My course was Political Science Honours. So, annually I paid around 15000, which includes tution fee, infrastructure fee, everything. About scholarship, you do get ot yearly. If your CGPA is above 6 then you are eligible for fee concession.
Campus Life
Overall experience in Kamala Nehru College, is very lively. I have been the part of actove societies which helped me to fond my new confident version . I met beautiful people here, who always there to help you out.
Admission
I scored 723/800. I knew, I can make it to the North campus. But, I course over college and the peaceful environment over the chaos of the North campus. If you want admission in Kamala Nehru College, you need to appear into CUET UG exam, conducted by NTA.
Faculty
My favourite are Ambar ma'am, Vaishali ma'am. They never let me feel around them leike out of place. They will make you feel like their own kids. All the faculty members are giid and approachable. Though, some might be strict, but they open up eventually once students approach them.
Night Life
Our college is located in a place which is a hotspot for hangouts. Students go to Hauz Khas market, Qutub Minar, South extension to dine and also to see night vision of Lotus temple. The night life around Kamala Nehru College is very lively and safe too because of 24/7 patrolling of police cars around campus.
