The fees for the course is around 12,600 which is pretty fair and budget friendly the college also provides students with various scholarships and a lot more based on merit or family circumstances i would say it's affordable for all
Various companies have visited & offered students a good stipend.
Teaching method is good as well as far as i've learned and the dedication of teachers requires appreciation.

Dislikes

The condition of the classrooms is very poor and pathetic.
Everything is broken from pad vending machines to water cooler. there is always water shortage and no sanitation in washroom
Washrooms. the only problem in my college was the washrooms which were broken and never got repaired.

Hidden gem of Patel nagar

Likes

In terms of teachers and co-curricular activities like clubs and societies, there was a good learning environment, teachers taught well and were supportive too
Many companies conduct interviews or the placement cell is also working.
The infrastructure was thik thik, the classes were good, the fans and lights were in working condition

Dislikes

No skills base classes. All eyes on syllabus completion
The sports facility was a bit poor, there were coaches but no ground
The placement cell was not very active, we did not even know if the company would come and go

SEminar Hue lectures are also very hot, it is necessary to participate in the clubs too, There were many problems and debates in historical events in history, many times we were also taken to see historical places

True face of kalindi

Likes

Teachers are very helpful and understanding
Fest are really amazing and full of enjoyment
Societies are really active and seniors are understanding

Dislikes

Washrooms are really in a very poor conditions
Walls of classrooms are having leakage and is falling
Fans, lights and computers are not working at all

It is a good course and having great opportunity because now a days many people don't go for it In future there will be a shortage of Sanskrit teachers as people don't find it interesting There should be extra classes and one to one session with the teachers The exams are really easy and the amount of time provided is perfect

Life at Kalindi college

Likes

Faculty is very helpful and cordial with the students
The societies gives us the liberty of experimenting
The services are very affordable aand minimal

Dislikes

Less campus life due to small college campus and less nearby hangout spots

Placement Experience:

In the final year a student is eligible for campus placements, the highest package was of 24 lakhs. The placement cell also conductes resume building sessions to prepare the students for off campus placements.

Campus environment is good and green. Abundant trees, well-maintained gardens, sprawling lawns, and eco-friendly spaces that enhance the aesthetic and ecological value of the institution.
The college library is an outstanding resource for students, offering a vast collection of books, research papers. The quiet and well-organized environment fosters a perfect setting for focused study. Equipped with comfortable seating it is a perk
The faculty is a perk with good knowledge giving students best environment.

Dislikes

Infrastructure needs to be worked on asap.
College hostel is under progress since 3 years.
Canteen food is a mess that does not give quality.

The course has a good curriculum that help student in solving real life problems. The practical part can be improved by improvising the labs. The exams are held at the end of every semester but class test can be taken by the teacher in order to give marks for class and internal assessment.

Multiple opportunities to learn and a good way to forge connections with people who may be alongside you in your future career path
Good infrastructure and efforts to create a good scenery with plants and trees
Multiple topics are taught not only those that are related to the core subject but also those which have contemporary relevance

Dislikes

There is not much effective implementation of the curriculum
There are usually a few delays in works that are to be done
Management could be a little better and responsive to the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason for choosing the Political Science honors BA is for the purpose of attempting the Union Public Service Examination (UPSC) in the near future as many of the questions come from this part and also if not for UPSC we can pursue Law later if the chance of cracking UPSC appears bleak. The syllabus is also well comprehensive and informative and covers most of the topics which are relevant in the stream I wish to pursue a career in.

The teachers were helpful and had expertise in their domain subjects.
The college conducted various extra curricular events .
The college and teachers provided us opportunity to work with other colleges as well.

Dislikes

The class infrastructure needed attention.
The timetable of the classes needs to be revised as there were almost 1 to2 3 hours gap between classes sometimes.
The food options should be more in the canteen.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum also included sports, drama , ncc , arts and all the other extra curricular activities. There were separated classes for the same . The overall curriculum was good. 1 class a week for extra curricular activities and also sports.

Kalindi College offers various courses!!

First and foremost it's the seniors as Kalindi College is not among the top rated colleges and therefore to keep up the ante, the seniors are best mentors here.
Courses are in abundance here and one can find any course of his/her chocie here.
Friendly and welcoming versed nature of the faculties have won almost every student's heart here.

Dislikes

Well it has to be college infrastructure as not just it's small, it isn't that clean too.

Placement Experience:

History students don't get much placements opportunities to be honest. Some history professors or the history content creators are the ones who offer jobs to us. A lot has to be bargain as maximum we could get is 5-6 lakhs a year, initially at least.

Kalindi is a merry way!!

Well, it's an all girls college and after LSR, it's the second best girls college of DU.
Faculties are amazing and wonderful as they operate without any partiality towards anyone.
College may not be as big but indeed the cleanest of most DU colleges.

Dislikes

Just 3 blocks and courses are too many. Therefore overcrowded at times is perhaps an issue.

Placement Experience:

We have to do internships during the breaks and that too we have to find it on our own. So, that we learn marketing and communication. Hence, many insurance and banking companies like ICICI and HDFC hire studnets of our branch. Average is low as placements percentage is low but students have gone on to get placements worth 10-15 lakhs or rather more.

Kalindi: The off Campus Star of DU !

The college is very close to the metro station so one cam commute easily by foot, which can surely help to same money. But Yes, the riksha facilities are also there for them who do not want to Walk.
College is located in a Residential Area so it's actually feel very safe there. People are always working out in a nearby park in the mornings, in afternoons you can see the office people taking a break, etc.
Canteen's food is very affordable and quite tasty as well. There are so many options to choose, from pizzas and sandwiches to Rajma Chawal, Ghar ki thali, etc.

Dislikes

Some of the Classrooms are actually not maintained well, the paint is coming off. Some times the fans are also not working, the charging plugs do not work.
The auditorium though very huge, has really poor management. It's open from the backside so it's not really nice when really hot winds blow in the summers. Lightings are not also THAT great.
It's does have a cyber centre but we are not allowed there all the time, you can't go without a teacher sometimes or when you not have any class there. Also some computers don't work.

I really had a great time doing Hons. in History. It was Realllyyyy good Course. I learnt so much. We got to visit the National Museum for some research purpose. We were taken to Rakhigarhi as well, as a Part of course (Field Visit). Along with studying Indian History in detail, we Got to study World History as well, of USA, China, Japan, Korea, Europe, etc. We were taught Historiography which we never learnt in school. In short we got to Study THE REAL HISTORY. It was all fun, as I expected it to be. BUT, Yes, more Visits can be included in the curriculum as one understands History or Architecture well by Looking things in Reality.

Campus is preety green as I love garden flowers and trees
Faculty members are friendly professor are good with students
Adminstration work or paper' work get done on time which I like about mt college

Dislikes

Washroom and classroom should be well maintained
Building should be completed need repairing
Fans are not work properly, chair and table should be change

Because I love maths and I want to be a manager.. Professors encourages for future entrance exams and supportive in my studies.. I think they should be increased timing of our lectures and tutorial classes.
