Life at Kalindi college

Likes

Faculty is very helpful and cordial with the students
The societies gives us the liberty of experimenting
The services are very affordable aand minimal

Dislikes

Less campus life due to small college campus and less nearby hangout spots

Placement Experience:

In the final year a student is eligible for campus placements, the highest package was of 24 lakhs. The placement cell also conductes resume building sessions to prepare the students for off campus placements.

Things i like about kalindi college is its Faculty . College boast a dedicated and experienced faculty , which ensures a high quality learning experience for students . Faculty members are approachable and provide guidance academically
The fees structure at Kalindi college is highly affordable courses like bcom hons priced reasonably , making education accessible for students who want to learn and pursue there career
The college offers scholarships to both needy students and and those who perform exceptionally hard

Dislikes

The college infrastructure is really very bad . The facilities such as classroom , washroom are outdated and need modernisation
The canteen food is pathetic. They provide old containment foods which is very unhygienic and bad for health
The increase in fees due to budget constraints reflects the strain in institution faces

Internships Opportunities:

The Internship opportunities in my college is driven simultaneously with internships cell of the college . The internship cell provides internships to students seeking for internand internship and programs

A good above average college

Likes

Teachers are good and supportive, quality education is promoted and prioritised.
Societies are active and a great chance for productivity and growing your network.
Gardens and parks are well maintained with ponds, fishes, frogs and biological plants.

Dislikes

Infrastructure needs to be improved, classrooms need renovation.
canteen facilities need to get improved.
Auditorium and Amphitheatre needs to be upgraded.

Campus environment is good and green. Abundant trees, well-maintained gardens, sprawling lawns, and eco-friendly spaces that enhance the aesthetic and ecological value of the institution.
The college library is an outstanding resource for students, offering a vast collection of books, research papers. The quiet and well-organized environment fosters a perfect setting for focused study. Equipped with comfortable seating it is a perk
The faculty is a perk with good knowledge giving students best environment.

Dislikes

Infrastructure needs to be worked on asap.
College hostel is under progress since 3 years.
Canteen food is a mess that does not give quality.

There are not many internship opportunities offer to the students within the college. Lack of awareness can be considered one of the major reason that's responsible for bare minimum involvement of students in the college internship.

Likes

The thing in my college i most liked is the faculty they are very nice and supportive and are ready to help anytime
The gardens of the college its very beautiful and there is also a peacock in kalidni
In library every book is available and there is also a reading room where you can study peacefully

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not very nice of kalindi
The conditions of the classroom and some of the washrroms
Irregularities of clasess they are cancelled any time

Internships Opportunities:

Companies that visits college are wipro TCS amazon zomato HDFC bank ICICI bank which provides annual package upto ? 5 Lakhs internship opportunities provided by the college is content writing, marketing and sales, data analysis etc

Overall view and review of college

Likes

Faculty both teaching and non teaching is nice and cooperative.
Campus life is good but not upto mark and quality of social attraction is nice.
There are society which are actively working for placement services and for career advancement.

Dislikes

Infrastructure of college is not so good but in providing knowledge it is good college
Sanitation facilitates are very poor. No clean washrooms are there in whole campus.
Drinking water facilitates is also not upto the mark.

Internships Opportunities:

Interships opportunities are their in college but not upto mark which can be choosed. I dont know about it in detail because i am not interested in interships provided by college. So i am unaware about it.

New life analysis

Likes

The location is quite good and not remote like many other colleges
The transportation and accommodation is better..one does not need to worrya bout the transport
Exploration and building communication skills as there are student from other states

Dislikes

The schedules as they are hectic like the classes starts from 8 and ends at 5 with half an hour break
Faculty as it is a little hard to deal with

Internships Opportunities:

It's my first semester so I am not familiar with the placement and stuff but from seniors I got to know that Tcs ,wipro,byjus etc are the companies that offers.generally they offer roles for like teacher,and other small roles played in their company but one can grab good role if they are skilled.

Kalindi College has the best societies!!

Likes

Seniors are quite helpful and they help us choose the right clubs and societies where we can learn and contribute.
Not many colleges have a fashion society but our college has one.
Teachers here are quite co-operative and for that they have my respect.

Dislikes

Small college is okay but gross washrooms which are at Kalindi should be checked by the administration department once.

Placement Experience:

Placements percentage is certainly low but companies that have started coming to our campus includes Flipkart, Deloitte and others. On and average what Kalindi students of our course were offered was around 7-7.5 lakhs a year.

Kalindi College offers various courses!!

Likes

First and foremost it's the seniors as Kalindi College is not among the top rated colleges and therefore to keep up the ante, the seniors are best mentors here.
Courses are in abundance here and one can find any course of his/her chocie here.
Friendly and welcoming versed nature of the faculties have won almost every student's heart here.

Dislikes

Well it has to be college infrastructure as not just it's small, it isn't that clean too.

Placement Experience:

History students don't get much placements opportunities to be honest. Some history professors or the history content creators are the ones who offer jobs to us. A lot has to be bargain as maximum we could get is 5-6 lakhs a year, initially at least.

Kalindi is a merry way!!

Likes

Well, it's an all girls college and after LSR, it's the second best girls college of DU.
Faculties are amazing and wonderful as they operate without any partiality towards anyone.
College may not be as big but indeed the cleanest of most DU colleges.

Dislikes

Just 3 blocks and courses are too many. Therefore overcrowded at times is perhaps an issue.

Placement Experience:

We have to do internships during the breaks and that too we have to find it on our own. So, that we learn marketing and communication. Hence, many insurance and banking companies like ICICI and HDFC hire studnets of our branch. Average is low as placements percentage is low but students have gone on to get placements worth 10-15 lakhs or rather more.
