Kalindi College offers various courses!!

Likes

First and foremost it's the seniors as Kalindi College is not among the top rated colleges and therefore to keep up the ante, the seniors are best mentors here.
Courses are in abundance here and one can find any course of his/her chocie here.

Dislikes

Well it has to be college infrastructure as not just it's small, it isn't that clean too.

Fees and Financial Aid:

At Kalindi College or for that matter any college of DU fees is defined by DU. So, you can choose any college and for BA Hons the fees will staybthe same. I paid close to 27k a year. At Kalindi College for students who can't afford the fees, MATA AMRITA NANDA MAYA scholarship is awarded and they don't have to pay a single paisa to study here.

Campus is preety green as I love garden flowers and trees
Faculty members are friendly professor are good with students

Dislikes

Washroom and classroom should be well maintained
Building should be completed need repairing

Campus in pretty beautiful greenery everywhere
Faculty members are good even professor are not much strict .

Dislikes

Campus in small and the washroom is so dirty college must maintain repair the walls and washroom
Some professor are real not good always they give new and assignment ebey single week and test can be taken on any day no fixed day which in personally don't like .

Fees is same for every student there is no Benefit for fees only during admission due to reservation you get benifits nothing changes in fees you have to pay fees every year.. there are scholarship if you have got good percentage in cls 12 above 80 or 90 percent then you can get scholarship or your parents yearly salary must me no more than 4lakh

My College Expectations vs Reality

Likes

Teacher are very supportive from my faculty. They are understanding of students situation. The most beneficial is the new policy of assigning group of students from each year to particular teacher for guidance related to future.
Students are supportive of each other. The environment is inclusive from teachers to students and even helpers in college.

Dislikes

Toilets are not clean . It's unhygienic. As a girls college it should be first priority
Hostel facility should be provided as girls safety should be top most priority and concern for management

The yearly fee for the B.A. English Honours course is ?10,530, though it can vary if fees are paid late. Additional charges include semester-wise examination fees, which range between ?1,100 and ?1,500 depending on the subject credits. Fee waivers are available, but the process lacks transparency; many students, including myself, are unaware of how to access this opportunity, even as someone from a reservation category. Each year, students from different courses are selected for scholarships during the annual day celebration. These scholarships vary, including certificates, medals, or monetary rewards, and recognize achievements in academics, sports, or student societies. Throughout the year, SC/ST, OBC, or students with income certificates are eligible for scholarships from both government and private institutions. Faculty was very good proffesors were so good and helpful in nature faculty was one thing in this college I liked teachers clears everything any doubt or query related studies or other issues related also they treat us like there child
Security was strict and that is good thing In girls college security must need like guards have to attentive every time

Dislikes

The thing I disliked was about infrastructure that's make good enviornment and also first impression of our college from outside
Hostels for girls should be available for students because some students also wants to study in our college were from out of state and they have to pay then more for pg many student's background were poors that's why they can not afford it

For first year I paid 15,700 fees for history hons course then in second year I paid 10,535 kalindi college as I migrated I am from obc category as I used to live in Gurgaon I have to travel daily from college to my home this caused my health issues also as I can not afford pg daily up down caused so muchhh issues . By travelling I can not be able to study regularly coz its too tough to study after travelling.. I want to do upsc coaching also but now due to travelling I can not be able to do my college studies only I'm not able to do extra activities I thought for doing job but after travelling it's so tough for me.

A holistic campus expirience

Likes

Social Life and friendship- Meeting new people forming friendship and engaging in social events like parties club and organisations and campus events , cultural festivals , concerts , sports events.
Facilities- many student appreciate the facility like library , gym, cafeteria and recreation centre available on campus.

Dislikes

Academic pressure- the intense workload exams and high expectation to lead to stress and burnout.
Crowded facility- library gym and cultural centre become overcrowded specially during peak hours making it difficult to find space for access services

The yearly fees that I paid is 12585rs per year. The college atmosphere is really nice and positive.

Dislikes

No hygiene is maintained for washrooms. A bit importance should be given to college infrastructure.
The faculty changes a lot. Class schedule is not followed

Fees and Financial Aid:

The college environment is very good but the facility changes too frequently. The students are very polite and helpful. I wish the college spent a bit more on infrastructure especially the washrooms. The yearly fee is around 10K. You'll have to pay examination registration fee every semester.

I dont know if i like something about my college
I have no good experience in my college.

Dislikes

College canteen is so unhygenic..and we complain about it they dont accept
Washrooms are not so developed and cleaned..thats also unhygenic

I am enrolled in BA prog ( music + pol sc) and pol sc is my major subject.In first year i had to pay 9000 something and in second year it was around 10000 and in 3rd year i paid 10830 ..medical fees was 200..university social welfare fund 200..development fund 1000( but there is no development lol) university facilties charge 1000( no good facility)college development fund (2900) Security 200 tuition fee 180,EWS 150 college students welfare fund 3350...and so on

The campus I wish for.

Likes

The staff of the college is good for me. They were academically good and the material and stuff provided by them was also accurate. All the teachers were experienced and knowledgeable and that's the best part of college so far I found.
Second thing I like the most is the space. My clg has the maximum space than all other college. And no mess could ever be found there. Inspite being so many students staff and all it was always the spacious zone.

Dislikes

Washroom of the college are not at all good. Apart from being said by students the washroom were untidy unclean no water facility and not properly maintained. This is the basic need of the students and college should thing of this to make it better
The food of campus is not at all appreciated . No good food is being provided to the students not the teachers. Also the price of the items was so high that a student should think twice to afford it which I don't like. Atleast provide good food rqst

I'm an 2021 batch student and course of my was ba programme ( Ca+ Geo). 3 yr course. The fees for this 13000 yearly. Also my others batch student fees was lesser than me that is 9000. I felt that my was quite more than other's but they included that it was for the practical course. Although the facilities provided for my practical course was good. The lab were also maintained and well mannered. The thing that lack in my was clg was. Topmost was washroom I would rate 0 /10 to them. No union or incharges were responsible to take the initiative to solve the issue. Other than this was the college ground. Which was like the barren ground and not maintained till date nor the hostel of the clg. After this is we move to the academic part that was good. For me I appreciate the academically part. And others were not on my bucket list. About the sponsorship I didn't got to know because somehow what I felt was the students were not being provided with all the information. For the sake of the students.

Likes

Faculty is pretty good and we can say that the study culture or environment for the studious students is there which I usually like in this campus.
Library is one of the best place which we use in our college as it provides most of the academic books for our courses.

Dislikes

Washrooms are not hygienic here.This is one of the biggest issue as this is a women college
Our infrastructure is not upto the mark,we have a wide area but it is not properly built to cope up with the standards of different college of DU

When I have admitted in year 2022 in this college then at that time the yearly fees of our department i.e BA(PROGRAMME) is somewhere around 9.6k. But now I am in the third year ,I am paying Rs.10,530 for the same.The distribution of the fees is as followed: University development fee:1200 Development fee:1500 Institutional fee:1000 Tution fees:180 FEES OF B.COM(HONS.)-12630 BA.HONS( JOURNALISM)-23080 BA.HONS(GEOGRAPHY)- 14130 BSC HONS.- 14630 BSC HONS(COMPUTER SCIENCE)-30580 B.Voc- 26333 MA(pol sc) and MA( SANSKRIT)- 6616 University also provides scholarship to the students belonging to economic weaker sections and belonging to OBC,SC AND ST.
