Ans. For Kalindi College B.Sc (Hons) Computer Science, you must get a high CUET score, like a high percentile and the exact cutoff changes every year. BA (Hons) Economics also need strong CUET score. Last year, the B.A. (Hons) Economics cut-off was near 660-670 marks, generally. A lower score may not get a seat, so prepare hard.

Ans. You can apply for BA courses like History, Geography, Hindi, English, Political Science and B.Com programs if you clear CUET and pass 10+2 from a recognised board. After the CUET-PG result, you must register on the DU CSAS PG portal and fill in your choice for Kalindi College to appear in the seat allotment.

Ques. I did CUET PG, but my score is low. Can I still get a seat in the Kalindi College MA course in later counselling rounds?

Kalindi College Admission Process 2026

Step 1: Give the CUET Exam

Students have to give CUET-UG for UG courses and CUET-PG for PG courses. Without a CUET score, admission is not possible.

Step 2: Register on DU CSAS

After the CUET results come, students need to register on the DU CSAS portal. Fill in your details and pay the fee, and then registration will be complete.

Step 3: Choose Course and College

Select the course you want and choose Kalindi College. The preference order is very important because seat allotment depends on your marks and category.

Step 4: Seat Allotment

Delhi University release seat list in many rounds. Seat allotment depends on score, category and seat availability.

Step 5: Upload Documents

If you get a seat, upload all the required documents online. If the document is wrong or missing, verification can be delayed.

Step 6: Pay Fee

After documents are verified, you must pay the admission fee on time. If you don’t pay, the seat can be cancelled.

Step 7: Reporting to College

After admission confirmation, students may need to visit the college for original document checking. Then classes start.

Students also ask

Ques. I heard many students on forums ask if I can make a change in my CSAS choices after the first seat allotment if I want a better college or course.

Ans: Many students ask this, and yes, you can change preferences in DU CSAS after the first list before the next round closes. You can update choices like course and college for upgrade, then save. This helps you try better options in the next round, but after the seat is accepted and the fee is paid, you may not change.

Ques. I see posts on DU Reddit about admission refunds, so can I get my money back if I cancel my Kalindi College admission later?

Ans: In DU, many students who cancel seat still waiting refund because bank detail or a portal problem. DU tries auto refund, but sometimes it fails and ask student to update bank info to get the money. So the refund is not instant and can take a long time if detail mistake.

Step What You Need to Do
1 Go to the official DU CSAS admission website.
2 Log in using your email ID or CUET application number and password.
3 Open your dashboard to check your application details.
4 See your admission status – whether you got a seat in Kalindi College, are on the waiting list, or have an upgrade option.
5 Check if any documents need to be uploaded or if the fee payment is pending, and complete it on time.
6 Visit the portal regularly during each CSAS round to check for updates.

Students also ask

Ques. I see many students ask online if I must upload all documents like caste proof, ID, and photos at CSAS, or if I can do it later after seat allotment.

Ans. When you register on DU CSAS, you must upload scanned documents like caste or category, photo ID and passport photo at the time of uploading. If you upload late or are missing in early rounds, your seat allotment may be held or cancelled. Better to upload all correct docs when the portal allows you.

Ques. I saw on groups that students are worried about document mismatch at the DU CSAS portal, so what if my name spelling on the CUET or 12th is different?

Ans. If your name or DOB is not the same on your school, CUET and CSAS form then verification can get delayed or rejected. Many students on forums suggest correcting spelling before admission or carrying affidavits and original proof to college. Always keep the same info in all docs.

Kalindi College Admission FAQs

Ques. I want to know if cutoff marks change a lot between rounds for different category seats at Kalindi College, like general, SC, ST, OBC or EWS?

Ans. Yes, cutoff marks at Kalindi College change a lot between rounds and categories. In 2025, for General, the range was from about 213 up to 767 marks, depending on course and round, and SC or ST had much lower closing marks on some courses. This means later rounds sometimes cutoffs become lower, so students get a chance.

Ques. I see many people ask if my CUET score must match last year's cutoff exactly to get a seat. Do I still have a chance if my score is lower than the top cutoffs?

Ans. Last year, cutoffs were very high for popular courses at Kalindi College, like B.Com (Hons.), above 760 for general, and BA/Economics, around 670-680 marks. But lower demand courses had lower marks too. So if your score is less then top cutoff, you still can get a seat in other courses or later rounds when the cutoff drops.

Ques. I saw many students ask online what CUET score range usually gets a seat in Kalindi College courses like B.Com (Hons) or B. A (Hons) Journalism?

Ans. Many students on forums share that popular courses at Kalindi College usually require high CUET scores. For example B.Com (Hons) expected cutoff was around 650-660 for general and B. A (Hons) Journalism was around 680-700 marks in the past year. A lower score may find a seat in later rounds or less-demanding courses.

Ques. I want to know if the cutoff changes a lot for different courses at Kalindi College between rounds, and what affects these changes?

Ans. Yes, cutoff changes a lot by course and round. For popular ones like Geography and Economics, they go high; for less popular ones like Sanskrit, they stay lower. Cutoff is affected by how many apply, how students rank CUET marks and how many seats are free in each round.

Ques. I heard on DU groups that cutoff trends from CUET 2025 help predict 2026 — what is expected for Kalindi College scoring high enough?

Ans. Based on past trends, colleges like Kalindi expect strong CUET marks for top courses; for general categories B. A (Hons) subjects often sit in the 90+ percentile range for round 1, while some science or commerce also high. Less competitive subjects may have lower percentiles, so check official lists for yours.

Kalindi College Admissions: Students' Opinion

  • BA

AI-Generated Summary based on 28 Reviews

To gain admission into the Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] {Hons.} program at Kalindi College, candidates must appear for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). A score above 640 is typically required, with more competitive scores like 700 facilitating early admission. Eligibility dictates that applicants be Class 12 pass outs, with core subjects often including Accounts, Business Studies, Economics, and English. CUET takes place annually in April, with results released by June.

Application to the college is processed through the NPUT portal, with the CUET score significantly influencing allotment in the centralized seat allocation process. The cutoffs vary based on the specific college within the University of Delhi selected via the preference list, which plays a critical role in the final allotment. The admission process is described as extended, entailing the CUET examination and subsequent filling out of various forms. Kalindi College, being part of these preference lists, may sometimes be allotted to students who scored suitably but declined to select higher-preferred institutions.

This indicates strategic consideration may benefit students aiming for other desired colleges within the university.

I had also applied to another college in Du. It would not be wrong to say that I got admission in this college by mistake because I had no idea about the courses offered by this college.I was just new, I had to take decision about life after 12th but now it feels like everything is going well, the college taught me a lot. Earlier admission was on merit basis but now it is through cuet. Cuet students, make your college preference list carefully, only that mattersMy experience was good, everything including the admission process was online.

I got rejected from north campus college because of less marks in CUET. For my course ( Bsc physical science with cs) u should atleast score 350 in your CUET.

As an off-campus girl's college, initially, I didn't like it but now I feel that any other DU college can not be that different either I mean it's up to you how you take things around you. I may have been allotted to a much better college if I waited, so maybe this can be your sign to wait and upgrade on your CSAS portal.
