The chemistry faculty at the college is generally effective, with Upasana Issar notably excelling in physical chemistry through a blend of discipline and approachability. While most faculty members are committed to student success, a few are less attentive. The academic structure includes two semester exams each year, with most students passing and attendance issues typically resolved by year-end. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, on-campus placements and offline internships were unavailable for some time.
However, the college's dedicated placement cell facilitates annual opportunities with reputable companies, with placement eligibility starting from the 4th semester. During the pandemic, several online internships were organized by professors, and a value-added course was offered to enhance learning. The annual admission fee is Rs. 12,592, with additional semester exam fees totaling about Rs. 14,000 each year, covering tuition (Rs. 180), caution (Rs. 600), development (Rs. 1,500), and lab fees (Rs.
2,500). There are no fee variations based on student categories. Although scholarships and financial aid are offered for students in need, some have encountered difficulties in accessing these despite multiple applications.
