I want to know if I can depend fully on Kalindi College placement, or if I must also prepare for off-campus?

Placement Experience:

In the final year a student is eligible for campus placements, the highest package was of 24 lakhs. The placement cell also conductes resume building sessions to prepare the students for off campus placements.

The placements are average. I have never had a conversation about it with any of my seniors and faculty. Although we have an active placement cell and consultancy and internship cell. The employability of students depends upon their skills and knowledge 75% of the total assumption.

Kalindi College has the best societies!!

Placements percentage is certainly low but companies that have started coming to our campus includes Flipkart, Deloitte and others. On and average what Kalindi students of our course were offered was around 7-7.5 lakhs a year.

Kalindi College offers various courses!!

History students don't get much placements opportunities to be honest. Some history professors or the history content creators are the ones who offer jobs to us. A lot has to be bargain as maximum we could get is 5-6 lakhs a year, initially at least.

Kalindi is a merry way!!

We have to do internships during the breaks and that too we have to find it on our own. So, that we learn marketing and communication. Hence, many insurance and banking companies like ICICI and HDFC hire studnets of our branch. Average is low as placements percentage is low but students have gone on to get placements worth 10-15 lakhs or rather more.

From last semester students become eligible for campus placements. Various companies have visited & offered students a good stipend. Student union works quite well to ensure students the promise of placements the college have done. Highest package so far of this college is 3 to 4 lakhs.

My college offers exceptional internship opportunities across various courses, ensuring that students gain valuable practical experience

i dont know much about placements but if you are active in college the placement would be easy as professors will also help you and if you are in journalism department then you will get the internships from 2nd year only from big news channel such as aajtak,NDTV and etc and placement will be very easy .i am currently approching for UPSC so the piont of placement is not my concern

THE HIDDEN TRUTH OF COLLEGE

The placement cell is provided in college but it is not well developed or efficiently work. Their is need to give emphasis over improvising the placement cell because not very much placement are provided to students. The highest package provided are between 4-6 lakh per annum and the companies were as such Godrej,Dell, etc. The percentage of students getting placement are less than 25% and the minimum requirement for placement is that students need to be in their 3rd year i.e 5 or 6th semester of their college.

Placement is not confirm in any colleges

The placements in my college is average. i think in the last year of graduation you became eligible for placements. Wipro,TCS, Biyus etc companies visited there. In 2022 around 11 UG students are placed during the placement drive. I don't have much information about the placement in my college till now bt i definitely check or know about it.
