Kalindi College: Students' Opinion

AI-Generated Summary based on 7 Reviews

Admission to the course is merit-based, with eligibility determined by cut-off lists. The English faculty is well-regarded and approachable, with a good faculty-to-student ratio allowing for personalized mentoring. The curriculum includes seven exams: four main and three extra, with optional subjects to enhance grades. The total fee for the 3-year course is approximately Rs 27,000, with additional expenses for travel and living. Placement opportunities are limited, with few high-paying roles, prompting students to seek off-campus placements.

The highest on-campus package is 24 lakhs. Although the placement cell provides resume sessions and hosts companies, significant opportunities are scarce. Internships tend to be low-paying or unpaid. Scholarships and financial aid are available, especially for SC/ST, OBC, or economically weaker students, but the process can lack transparency. Various scholarships are awarded annually, and initiatives like Enactus Kalindi help with employment opportunities. Faculty and staff offer guidance on financial aids, though some students find accessing this information challenging.
