Course Curriculum Overview
The course I am in has a relevant curriculum. The syllabus is taught according to the new education policy. Students get to choose their value-added course and skill enhancement course, for which they are provided with numerous options of subjects and papers. All the classes are held sincerely and regularly.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are posted on the official Instagram handle of the internship cell and placement cell of our college. The opportunities are often first come first served kind of so, if you really look for an opportunity and you are skilled you would surely get a chance.
Placement Experience
The placements are average. I have never had a conversation about it with any of my seniors and faculty. Although we have an active placement cell and consultancy and internship cell. The employability of students depends upon their skills and knowledge 75% of the total assumption.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for Bcom is Rs 10500 for a year. Additional examination form fee is charged every semester which is Rs1500. The other categories don't get a different amount to pay which makes everyone pay the same amount. Different scholarships are provided by the University of Delhi.
Campus Life
The college crowd is average and it depends upon what value you carry on the college campus and how productive you are. The events and fests are average and this can be because of several reasons one of which can be bad infrastructure of the auditorium and the amphitheatre. The library is good with all resources available.
Admission
I chose Kalindi as it was allotted to me in the first seat allotment list, although I wanted an even better college. As an off-campus girl's college, initially, I didn't like it but now I feel that any other DU college can not be that different either I mean it's up to you how you take things around you. I may have been allotted to a much better college if I waited, so maybe this can be your sign to wait and upgrade on your CSAS portal.
Faculty
The faculty is good and supportive, we can approach our professors for our queries and academic-related problems. The exams are held semester-wise apart from that we have an internal assessment and continuous assessment which is based on practicals, tests, assignments, and attendance.
Night Life
There is no hostel facility in this college, the hostel is under construction right now. The college is situated in a residential area but the location is near Karol Bagh, Patel Nagar, and Rajeev Chowk so there can be many hangout spots. The area is safe.
