Likes

I really liked the teaching quality and teachers are really helpful.
Sports facilities with coaches are available. You will get many opportunities to play at higher level and play matches
Loaded Library is there with air conditioning.

Dislikes

Washrooms are not cleaned and less washrooms are available
Basketball court is not in kalindi and also you can't reach out another college to get basketball court

Course Curriculum Overview

Labs are available for my course with helpful and friendly lab assistants . Also teachers explain everything nicely . Their teaching method is really cool and enjoyable. Frequent tests are taken for my course. Teachings are based on practical.

Class Size: 11Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 15000 for my course. Every thing is included in it like admission fees, tution fees,lab fees etc.Scholarships are there in college and concession in fees is provided for secondary caste students. You have to pay your examination fees your own which can be around 900-2500 according to your subjects.

Campus Life

The day I joined college I started living my own life with a friendly environment. College students are really friendly and environment is really good and comfortable for girls. Due to variety of clubs I am learning new things every day.

Admission

As per the marks I scored in CUET I think my college is best as it does not charge lakhs of rupees and also provide good environment. One of the reason I chose this college is that it is all girls. I got rejected from north campus college because of less marks in CUET. For my course ( Bsc physical science with cs) u should atleast score 350 in your CUET.

Faculty

Faculty members of my college are really friendly and helpful. We can reach out to them at anytime for any problem. Best faculty is student union of college, they listen to your problems and take action on them. Sports faculty is little rude. There are only semester exams, exams are moderate and checking is not that lenient but usually everyone is able to clear exams but exceptions are there.

Night Life

There is jheel park near my college also street stalls to eat variety of junk food. Cafeteria of college has variety of food. There is mother dairy and Nescafe in college. I would not suggest anyone to roam around my college in night because it might be little unsafe.

The real college experience

Placement Experience:

Gargi, like most other delhi colleges, has a standard placement cell. Students become eligible for placements from the 5th semester onwards, but most requirements happen during the final year. The companies that visit are primarily ed tech based ventures or marketing, HR firms and sales firms. A few that have collaborated over the year has been EY, Decathlon, Urban Company, Deloitte and so on. in terms of packages, the highest that had been around 15-17lpa, and the average package is 4-5lpa. About 20-30% of the batch gets placed during placement interviews while many try to pursue other opportunities or off-campus venues.

ANDC= The most average old school type campus life

as the everyone know for computer science b tech is the best course but there is to much rush for b tech and i dont want to waste my college life or campus life on engenerring degree which dont give me placements thats why i choose for bsc hons cs in du to enjoy the campus life. if you study well in this course it will definately help vo in job interview making your resume good and skills better. the teaching method should be more practical than doing on notebooks or oraly. the datesheet and timings of exams are preety good and the difficulty of exam are moderate the ones who prepares will definately score good marks and can maintain better cgpa.

Good for science courses but infrastructure and surrounding area is not good

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are average. There is a placement cell in our college that is mostly run by students only. Average placement package is 3 to 4 LPA. Companies like Wipro, TCS that visits our college for placements. 5 and 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. 60 to 100 students per year get placements.

Placement Experience:

One can easily view the placement statistics of our college on their website. The placement cell of the college manages the placement process. On first glance, it appears impressive. But most of the placements are in similar fields of commerce like consulting or finance, followed by Arts and Science courses getting the least amount of placements. I personally have no faith in my course getting me any placement. So I'm preparing for government exams anyways.

LSR is any girls dream in India but you need a score of 770+ to get admission there. My score was 690 and in that the best available girls college was Kalindi and hence i chose Kalindi college. Kalindi: The off Campus Star of DU !

There were several Reasons to choose Kalindi: It's an all girls college so it felt comparatively more Safer than the Co-ed ones. Also, this might be an unpopular opinion but the Boys were not there to make mischiefs so there was a good built-in environment for Study. Girls were there to manage each and everything. Either it was NCC, NSS, Sports, Societies or even Student Union, girls were incharge of literally everything and it used to feel very proud and wholesome.
