- Well, it's an all girls college and after LSR, it's the second best girls college of DU.
- Faculties are amazing and wonderful as they operate without any partiality towards anyone.
- College may not be as big but indeed the cleanest of most DU colleges.
Dislikes
- Just 3 blocks and courses are too many. Therefore overcrowded at times is perhaps an issue.
Course Curriculum Overview
BA was more out of anxiety as DU was my dream coming from a small town in MP. In commerce i saw a rat race and then I wanted to explore other opportunities too. So, i therefore decided that BA is one which course which will allow me all and hence i chose BA.
Placement Experience
We have to do internships during the breaks and that too we have to find it on our own. So, that we learn marketing and communication. Hence, many insurance and banking companies like ICICI and HDFC hire studnets of our branch. Average is low as placements percentage is low but students have gone on to get placements worth 10-15 lakhs or rather more.
Fees and Financial Aid
I don't why this question is asked as DU is known for charging less and providing more. Just 11 and a half thousand and that too as I am from general category. Otherwise for lower category and students from poor community even gets a complete waive off in tuition fees and they are left to pay just 1000 odd or something.
Campus Life
Our annual fest name is Laharein and it's an Indian name so that means maintain heritage. In our fest all cultures of India are shown like students of Assam are asked to perform Bihu dance and students from Gujarat are asked to perform Garba and likewise. One of those rare colleges that have a Gymkhana and students have access to it during college hours.
Admission
LSR is any girls dream in India but you need a score of 770+ to get admission there. My score was 690 and in that the best available girls college was Kalindi and hence i chose Kalindi college. Admissions are only through CUET scores like 680 is bare minimum cut-off for genera category students.
Faculty
Our history professor is to me the best as I chose BA to learn history and political science. Ideally both are boring subjects but the way they reached us, it makes me feel that I want to have more piece of it. So all in all our colleges faculties are as good as anyone in comparison among DU colleges.
