• NTA will announce the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 result by February 12.
• The result can be released anytime before the deadline.
• Once released, the result link will be active on jeemain.nta.nic.in.
• Students should keep their login details ready.
• This will help avoid last-minute problems while checking the result.

• JEE Main 2026 scorecard is expected to be available for download till July 31, 2026.
• The scorecard will be valid only for the 2026–27 academic year.
• Students should download and save multiple copies.
• Keep copies of scorecard, response sheet, and answer key.
• After this period, the result may not be available online.
• You may need to contact NTA later to get a copy.

It is advised to download your JEE Main Scorecard 2026 on a laptop, as a laptop is a better device due to its large display and the ability to directly print if the printer is connected.

The Candidates require the login details to access the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 result once the scorecard is available on the official website. 

The Details required to log in are:

• Application number
• Date of birth or password
• Security pin/captcha (as shown on screen)

After logging in, candidates can download the scorecard PDF and save it for counselling and future admission processes.

• Yes, the 75% marks criterion in Class 12 is required for admission into top NITs, IIITs and GFTIs by JoSAA Counselling.
• However, this is not needed to appear for JEE Main or to check your result, which is applicable at the time of admission. 

After the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Results are declared, you have to decide your next pathway, depending on your goals and performance:

• Aim for IIT: Your rank should be among the top 2.5 lakh in JEE Main 2026 and apply for JEE Advanced (Apr–May 2026).
• Focus on JoSAA Counselling: Even if you don’t go for JEE Advanced, you can still get engineering seats in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs via JoSAA counselling

• Once the final answer key is published and results are declared, there is no separate revaluation or recounting of marks that candidates can request. 
• The Result will be released based on the final answer key, after the challenge window will be closed. 

To calculate the JEE Main Score, you need to use the JEE Main 2026 answer key along with the JEE Main response sheet.

• Then you need to match your correct and incorrect answers from the answer key to find out the expected marks.
• You can use the marking scheme, +4 marks for each correct answer and -1 marks for an incorrect answer. 
• Now compare these expected marks with the previous years’ trend to predict your percentile.
