NTA will also announce JEE Main 2026 Cutoff, minimum marks in JEE Mains to qualify for JEE Advanced, JEE Main 2026 toppers list, and JEE Main All India Rank. As per the previous year data, the expected category wise cut off for JEE Main 2026 are General (91 - 95), EWS (79 - 83), OBC - NCL (77 - 81), SC (58 - 62) and ST (44 - 48). You must download and take a printout of the JEE Mains scorecard 2026, as it will be required at the time of admission.

What rank is 99.5 in JEE Mains?

A 99.5th percentile in the JEE Main exam is generally a rank between 5,200 and 6,200. This percentile places a candidate within the top 0.5% of test-takers. A score above 95 percentile is generally considered a good starting point for a desirable seat in any IIT.

What is the JEE Main Result 2026 Session 1 expected cut-off?

The JEE Main cut-off will depend on factors like exam difficulty, number of test-takers, and overall performance. Based on recent trends:

  • The general category cutoff is estimated to be between 93 to 95 percentiles (approximately 85–90 marks out of 300).
  • The cutoff for OBC-NCL and EWS candidates is expected to be slightly lower, around 91 to 93 percentile (approximately 80–85 marks).
  • For SC candidates, the cutoff is likely to be between 82 to 86 percentiles
  • For ST candidates, between 73 to 80 percentiles, which translates to roughly 50 to 65 marks for these categories.
  • PwD candidates are expected to have a lower cutoff, around 40 to 45 percentile.

JEE Main 2025 Toppers List

NTA will announce the JEE Main Topper list 2026 along with the result on April 17.
