Physical Education exam is scheduled to be held on March 12, 2024. Physical Education is an optional subject in class XII. A student can choose to appear for Physical Education exam irrespective of his/her stream. Apart from the compulsory subjects for each stream, you can opt for Physical Education as one of your main subjects or an additional subject as per your choice. However, you are advised to check the eligibility and marks calculation criteria of colleges you wish to take admission to after your CBSE Class 12 Exams 2024. Some of the colleges consider only main subjects while some may include all 5 subjects for calculating your percentage.

Students who have an interest in sports and physical activities generally opt for Physical Education. However, since it is a scoring subject, it is also opted as a main subject to achieve a good overall percentage. If we analyze previous years’ statistics, we can conclude that it is one of the easiest subjects to score 95+ marks in the final exams. Students often get perfect 100 marks in this subject.
