CBSE Class 12th Exam 2026: Key Changes

  • The CBSE 12th exam 2026 is all set to commence from today, 17th February, 2026.
  • With the introduction of the On-Screen Assessment (OSM), CBSE has taken a step to enhance accuracy in the assessment.
  • The exam will take place in a single shift from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
  • Students are advised to reach the exam center between 9 and 9:30 AM.
  • The gate closing time for the CBSE Class 12th Board exam 2026 is 10:00 AM.

On the first day, Biotechnology (045), Entrepreneurship (066), Shorthand English (825), and Shorthand Hindi (826) will be conducted by the CBSE. Based on 2024 and 2025 trends, the question paper will consist of MCQs, short-answer, and long-answer questions with different weightage.
