CBSE Class 12 Paper Analysis 2024 (Out), Check Subject-Wise Difficulty Level and Question Paper

CBSE Class 12 Paper Analysis 2024: CBSE conducted class 12 final board exams from February 15 to April 2, 2024. This year, CBSE board exams were comparatively tougher than previous years due to a higher number of competency-based questions. However, Hindi and English papers were reported to be easy. You can check the difficulty level and a detailed analysis of each exam from this article.

The question paper pattern for each subject is the same as CBSE Class 12 Sample Papers released by the board. There are 20% MCQs, 40% competency-based questions, and 40% short answer questions for a total of 100 marks paper. You must score at least 33% marks to pass the exams.

CBSE Class 12 Computer Science Paper Analysis 2024

CBSE concluded class 12^th board exams on April 2 with Computer Science paper. Students who appeared for the exam found the paper to be moderate.

• The paper followed the format of sample paper released by the board. 
• MCQs contained both easy and tricky questions.
• Questions based on programming were also easy.
• There were no questions out of the prescribed syllabus.

CBSE Class 12 History Paper Analysis 2024

CBSE Class 12 History exam was held on March 28, 2024. Students reported the paper to be moderate but lengthy. 

• MCQs were found to be tricky.
• Short and long answer questions were direct. However, long answer questions were time-consuming.
• The source-based questions were also easy.

CBSE Class 12 Business Studies Paper Analysis 2024

CBSE Class 12 Business Studies exam was successfully held on March 27, 2024. The paper was found to be easy and well-balanced by the students. 

• There were a good number of direct questions in the paper.
• MCQs and assertion-reasoning based questions were easy to attempt.
• The questions were much in alignment with the sample paper released by the board.
• Case-study based questions were average and topics ranged from Finance to Consumer Protection and from Principles of Management to Marketing. 
• The paper was also not lengthy.

CBSE Class 12 Accountancy Paper Analysis 2024

CBSE conducted class 12 Accountancy exam on March 23, 2024. Students reported the paper to be easy to moderate.

• Some students found the paper to be a little lengthy.
• MCQs were moderate with a mix of direct and tricky questions.
• Short answer questions were average.
• Students found the second part of the paper to be easier than the first one. 

CBSE Class 12 Political Science Paper Analysis 2024

CBSE Class 12 Political Science exam was successfully conducted on March 22, 2024. Students reported the paper to be moderate in difficulty level.

• MCQs were easy and direct.
• In section B, short answer questions were also direct and scoring.
• The passage-based questions were also easy. 
• However, long answer type questions were lengthy and a little difficult.

• MCQs were easy and scoring.
• Section B was easier as compared to other sections. It had direct questions from the NCERT textbook.
• Section C had both memory and application-based questions. Students found this section moderate.
• The case-study based questions were reported confusing by the students.

CBSE Class 12 Economics paper was held on March 18, 2024. Students found the paper easy to moderate with a mix of direct and a few tricky questions. 

• MCQs were tricky and the questions in this section were value-based.
• Section B of the paper was simple with direct answers.
• Case-based questions were also easy.
• Students who prepared from the NCERT book found the questions relatable and easy.
• The application-based questions in the paper required a thorough understanding of the chapters.

CBSE Class 12 Psychology Paper Analysis 2024

Psychology exam was scheduled on March 15, 2024. Students reported the paper to be moderately difficult and lengthy.

• All the questions were from the prescribed syllabus and NCERT book only.

CBSE class 12 Mathematics exam has been conducted on March 9, 2024. The paper has been rated moderate and slightly lengthy by students.

• The question paper was in alignment with the sample paper format and marking scheme.
• Case study based questions were comparatively easier.
• Section A was moderately challenging while the remaining sections were easy to average level difficulty.
• MCQs and Assertion-Reasoning type questions were tricky and lengthy.
• Short-answer type questions were easier to attempt.

CBSE Class 12 Physics Paper Analysis 2024

CBSE conducted class 12 Physics exam on March 4, 2024. As per the students, the Physics paper was moderate to difficult. Students also reported the paper to be lengthy.

• MCQs and case-study-based questions were difficult and tricky.
• Derivations asked in the paper were also tough.
• Students found section C of the paper to be the most difficult, however, the 5-mark questions were comparatively easier.
• If compared to previous years’ papers, the paper this year was more difficult.
• Physics paper followed the same pattern as the sample paper with similar difficulty level. 

CBSE Class 12 Geography Paper Analysis 2024

The Geography theory exam was held on February 29, 2024. Students reported CBSE Class 12 Geography paper to be easy. Students were able to complete the paper on time.

• The long answer questions were straightforward.
• Short answer questions were based on the NCERT textbook.
• There were 5 sections in the paper and the difficulty level was almost similar across the sections. 
• MCQs were also easy and scoring.
• Nothing was asked out of the syllabus. 

CBSE Class 12 Chemistry Paper Analysis 2024

CBSE Class 12 Chemistry paper conducted on February 27, 2024, was reported moderately difficult. The paper was balanced and followed the same pattern as the sample paper.

• MCQs in the paper were found to be tricky.
• Section B was easy and questions in Section C were also direct.
• Long answer questions were also direct and simple while case-based questions were found to be of moderate difficulty.
• The paper contained NCERT-based questions mainly. Students who prepared from the NCERT book found the paper easy. 

CBSE Class 12 English Paper Analysis 2024

CBSE successfully conducted class 12 English paper on February 22, 2024. Students found the paper to be easy and balanced with a mix of textual and competency-based questions. 

• The first passage in Section A had some tricky, time-consuming questions, however, the second passage was easy. 
• The other two sections of the paper were of average difficulty.
• In the Literature section, the long questions interlinked narratives and poems. The questions in this section were mainly competency-based. 
• In the Writing section, enough hints were provided to write the content.
• Being a language subject, the English paper was a little lengthy.

CBSE Class 12 Hindi Paper Analysis 2024

CBSE conducted Hindi Core and Elective papers on February 19, 2024. As per the initial reactions from students, Hindi Core and Elective papers were rated easy. 

• The Hindi Core paper was a bit lengthy.
• Unseen passages were easy with direct MCQs.
