The Central Board of Secondary Education will shortly release a notification regarding the submission of LOC. After the conclusion of the process in the last week of September 2024, the authority will release the CBSE Class 12 Registration Form 2024-25 at the Pariksha Sangam Portal. The tentative date of registration is October first week, 2024. The board will close the submission window for the List of Candidates (LOC) shortly. Schools must submit the LOC with the regular fee by October 4, 2024.
The registration fee for class 12 is different across categories. However, candidates have to pay an extra INR 300 per additional subject.
The LOC submission for the compartment exam will start in May 2025. This year, 122170 students were placed in the compartment category. The registration fee per subject for the compartment exam is the same as the main examination.

CBSE Class 12 Registration 2024-25: Eligibility
Regular Candidates
Age Limit: CBSE does not define any specific age limit for class 12. However, the minimum age is usually 17 years for class 12. There is no upper age limit for the exam.
Attendance: Candidates must have at least 75% attendance to appear in the examination of class 12.
Other Criteria: Candidates must be currently studying in Class 12 from CBSE or any recognised board and have completed at least one academic year in Class 12.
Private Candidates
- Students who got ER (essential Repeats) in class 12 are eligible to appear in class 12 as private students.
- Students placed in the compartment exam category will be treated as private students.
- Students placed in the compartment exam category failed and essential repeat students of 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022.
- Students passed in 2024 but wish to improve their marks in any subject.
- Students passed in 2022, 2023, 2024 but who wish to appear in an additional subject.

Do You Have to Register in Both Class 11 and 12?

CBSE Class 12 Registration 2024-2025 Process
Candidates can register through the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in. However, they are only allowed to register through their respective school authorities.

To register candidates need to submit their details to the school. After receiving the details from the students the school will complete the registration through Pariksha Sangam Portal.

CBSE 12 th Registration Process for Private Candidates
Private candidates willing to appear in the class 10 exam need to register through cbse.gov.in. After registering through the ‘Submission of Examination Form by Private Candidates for Class 10 Examinations 2025’ link, under the ‘Latest@CBSE’ tab candidates need to conclude the process with an application fee.

CBSE Class 12 Application Form Correction
The form correction process will begin in January 2025. Only schools can participate in the process. However, schools are not allowed to change the candidate's name, father’s name, mother’s name, and date of birth except for spellings.

There are various modes of the CBSE class 12th registration fee payment. You can pay the fee through Netbanking, and Debit/Credit card (both national/ international). There will be no offline mode. If there is an online payment issue then you can contact the bank.
