According to the new exam Pattern 2024-25, the weightage of competency-based questions including MCQ has increased from 40% to 50%. On the other hand, the weightage of short-answer and long-answer questions has been reduced to 30%. And MCQ-based ‘Select Response Type’ questions have 20% weightage.
CBSE Class 12 Exams have a total of 100 marks per subject. Practical exam has 20% weightage in the exam. Candidates need to obtain at least 33% marks in each subject to pass the exam.
