The syllabus of the CBSE Class 12 History Syllabus is divided into three parts:
- Themes in Indian History Part-I
- Themes in Indian History Part-II
- Themes in Indian History Part-III
Each part carries 25 marks and contains 4 themes. The syllabus also includes map work for 5 marks. The map work contains questions related to Harappan sites, Mahajanapada and cities, Ashokan inscriptions, major Buddhist sites, etc.
