Maths Important Questions Class 12
Here are some important questions for CBSE Class 12 Maths board exam scheduled on March 9, 2024:
- Check whether the relation R defined on the set A = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6} as R = {(a, b): b = a + 1} is reflexive, symmetric or transitive. (Relations and Functions)
- If R is a relation defined on the set of natural numbers N as follows:
R = {(x, y) : x ∈ N, y ∈ N and 2x + y = 24}, then find the domain and range of the relation R . Also, find whether R is an equivalence relation or not. (Relations and Functions) - If tan-1 (√3) + cot-1 x = π2‚ then find the value of x. (Inverse Trigonometric Functions)
- Prove that cot-1(1+sinx√+1−sinx√1+sinx√−1−sinx√) = x2, 0 < x < π2, or x ∈ π4 (Inverse Trigonometric Functions)
- If A is a square matrix such that A2 = I, then find the simplified value of (A – I)3 + (A + I)3 – 7A. (Matrices)
- The elements a of a 3 × 3 matrix are given by aij = 12|- 3i + j|. Write the value of element a32. (Matrices)
- If A and B are square matrices of the same order 3, such that |A| = 2 and AB = 27. Write the value of |B|. (Determinants)
- Prove that y = (4sinθ/2+cosθ) – θ is an increasing function in (0, π2). (Application of Derivatives)
- Find the value of ∫ sin x ∙ log cos x dx. (Integrals)
- Evaluate ∫∞1 ( |x – 1| + |x – 2| + |x – 4|) dx. (Integrals)
- Find the area of the region lying above X-axis and included between the circle x2 + y2 = 8x and inside the parabola y2 = 4x (Application of Integrals)
- Using integration, prove that the curves y2 = 4x and x2 = 4y divide the area of the square bounded by x = 0, x = 4, y = 4 and y = 0 into three equal parts. (Application of Integrals)
- Form the differential equation representing the family of curves y = e2x(a + bx), where ‘a’ and ‘b’ are arbitrary constants. (Differential Equations)
- Find the general solution of the differential equation dy/dx = ex+y. (Differential Equations)
