CBSE class 12th compartment exam results declared on August 2, 2024. The compartment exam results can be checked by entering the school number and roll number at results.cbse.nic.in. The overall pass percentage of class 12th compartment exam is 29.78%. This year, 1,22,170 students have been placed in the compartment exam category.

I got a repeat in the practical exam. Do I need to appear in the theory exam also? For students who were unable to clear the practical examination, however passed in all the theory examination, they have to appear in only the practical examination. The marks of supplementary exams will be uploaded by the respective schools/ examination centers at the official websites on the day of conducting of the same.

How Many subjects can one appear in CBSE Compartment Exam? – The Board allows students to appear for compartment exam in any one subject in which they are placed in compartment catgeory in CBSE Class 12 Result 2024. Students who pass the regular exams but want to improve their marks can also appear for compartment exams but only for one subject.

  • Students who get Repeat in Practical (RP) in any subject have to reappear for the practical exam only. The theory marks of such students are carried forward for the final result.
  • Candidates who get Repeat in Theory and Practical Both (RB) will have to appear for both the practical and theory papers for that subject. Such students need to pass both papers separately.

Students have to fulfill the below eligibility criteria to appear for Class 12 Compartment Exams 2024:

  • Student must have appeared for Class 12 board exams in the same year
  • One can appear for a compartment exam in only one subject.
  • Candidates must have secured less than 33% marks in those specific subjects, including the practical exams.

The Board conducts compartment exams for Class 12th students who are unable to pass one subject in the main board exams. The compartment exams give students a second chance to clear the failed subjects and continue their academic journey.

Alike main examination, the registration for the supplementary exam is also done by the school authority. To register for the CBSE Class 12 Compartment Exam 2024, the authority needs to send LOC or list of candidates to CBSE Board and pay the fee. To register, credentials like user ID and password need to be entered for login. To register as a private student, full subject main exam roll number, main exam center number mentioned on your respective admit cards are required for login purpose. CBSE Class 12 Compartment Exam 2024 Registration Fees

The Class 12 Compartment Registration Form 2024 fee details are as follows:

  • The registration fee for Class 12 Compartment Exam is Rs. 300 per subject.
  • Students who wish to appear for both theory and practical exams will have to pay a separate fee of Rs. 150 for each Practical exam/ project work.
  • For students outside India, the Class 12 Compartment Exam Fee 2024 is 2000 INR per subject and 350 INR for each practical/ project work.
  • If a candidate register after the last date, he/she must pay a late fee of 2000 INR in addition to the regular fee.

How to Download CBSE Class 12 Compartment Exam Date Sheet?

Class 12 exam date sheet has been released on the official website, cbse.gov.in. On the main homepage, you can download the datesheet by clicking on the link “Date Sheet for Supplementary Exam 2024 of Class XII”. The datesheet is displayed in PDF form. The supplementary exam of class 12 will be held in a single day, i.e., on July 15, 2024.
