Which DU college is better, Ramjas or Sri Venkateswara for B.Com?

Both Ramjas and Sri Venkateswara are reputed colleges under Delhi University. According to the reviews online Sri Venkateswara (SVC) is better when it comes to commerce than Ramjas. SVC has better placements, faculty and overall exposure. Both colleges are very much involved in cultural activities and extracurriculars. If you are willing to opt for a science course then go for Ramjas, Commerce is better in SVC. They both have no strict rules to maintain a 75% attendance, you should just have enough to sit for the internals. Students who are unable to sit in the internals due to their involvement in clubs and societies have to submit an ECA to their teacher. This is possible in both the colleges. Ramjas has a better infrastructure than SVC. But all these do not matter much, if you are dedicated to your studies, you can succeed in any college. Choose the college nearer to you, the north or the south campus.

Sri Venkateswara College; is it worth it?

The year-wise fees for the course I am pursuing, B.Com, at sri venkateswara college is rs.22855 for the 1st year, rs.22165 for the 2nd year, and rs.22725 for the 3rd year. The fees decrease very slightly for the 2nd year but increase in the 3rd year. The caution deposit+university fee is rs.4040 in 1st year, 3540 in 2nd year and rs.3540 again in the 3rd year. The college does not offer any independent scholarships or financial aid, but students can apply for financial aid to Delhi University

For every semester, a b.com student pays approximately 21,000 making it to a total of 1.26 lac for the complete graduation. The facalities we get even after paying a mere amount is superb. There is an additional examination fees which varies according to the subjects applied for which is around 1300 per sem. For some categories, the fees is lowered (like for pwd, st, etc) while the fees for practical exams are higher than the normal.

South Campus SRCC

The fee structure is 20000 but it varies from various to various courses. College provide some amount of scholarship to economically weak students. For the PWD category, the fee amount is 100-200 only. For the EWS students college provides a scholarship in which not the full amount but some amount of fee is returned to the students.

Venky is somewhere you can have the proper College life

I am also very happy about the faculty as it is a very important part of any college and I feel that we have got a great faculty especially for BCom at a very minimal fee.
Thirdly ,the fees is very minimal and so there is more inclusivity in the college. Many can afford to have a nice education through the minimal fees

I have paid 20775 for year 1 and it is supposed to be more or less the same for the next 2 years.I also had to pay a 250rs registration fees for applying to Delhi university .Also,you are required to pay an examination fees before every end semester exams along with filling the application form.I paid Rs1310 as exam fees but it varies from course to course.

Admission fees is 20775 rupees and rest year is around 15000 rupees and if your family annual income in documents is below 4 lakhs then you'll get 100 percent fees back by freeship education scholarship scheme and if 4-8 lakhs then 50 percent fees back and if more than 8 lakh you'll get no scholarship.

The fees for pursuing different courses are less than as it's a government college and around 45000 cost you can complete your graduation and there are many scholarships available for students which can be availed by the students in case they belong to a specific category or they are underprivileged then the fees get waive off.Student's welfare scholarships are available in the campus.There are numerous campus opportunities available the highest package goes upto 21.5 lac and average goes about 4lpa.There are numerous companies come like Bain, De shaw, ZS associates, Deloitte, Ey, Pwc, Ecom express, makemytrip, KPMG etc
