Hostel Facilities:

Our college hostel is more affordable than other means available in near by areas for normal students the fees is 120000 for a whole year and for me it is 20100 as I am a PWD students. Food of hostel is very good and healthy to eat

* Yes Boys and girls have seperate hostels. No they aren't allowed to enter others hostel rooms * There is one hostel for boys and one for girls. Both are equally good. * Hostel allocation is done on the basis of Cuet score and distance of home city from Delhi for those who have filled for hostel. "VENKY " IS IT A HEAVEN OR WHAT

I got hostel seat in my 3rd year.They will offer only 75 seats each for both girls and boys in a batch .I enjoyed a lot in the hostel when compared to college because hostel is very spacious and we have a community which sit together and talk upto 10 :30 in nights .Hostel Rules were very strict .They won't allow students of the hostel after 9:00 pm .They will provide study table,chair and bed and cleaning service was so good .The food in the hostel was not that good but when compare to outside of the hostel it was so better they won't serve non- veg .Hostel is situated within the campus and only 10 metres to the college . security was too strict . Totally Hostel life is like a heaven when have a good community .They will give facillities like common room to study ,washing machine and gym is aslo avaliable

The place where it is located is just nearby satyaniketan.. Where a lot of pg / flats are available for students....so it becomes easy for us to go to college daily and it takes hardly 5 minutes to reach the college
The mess and canteen of the college provides good pricing for the foods that are much expensive if we go to the other shop

The hostel has the seating capacity of only 75boys and 75girls...25 from each year .. So many of the students have to look for pg/ flats which is tough for a first yr student. Also the fees of hostel=9500/M is much higher compared to other govt hoste

In svc hostel.. Only 150 seats are available... 75 for boys and 75 for girls...i have been a resident of SVC hostel... The room is good enough and is equipped with 2 fans and no ac... We are allowed to keep a cooler during summers... And most of us do... A big table with chair is there in the room... The beds are single bed and enough for a boy of 6 feet... We got food 4 times a day and we also got milk and tea during evening and morning but u can imagine the quality of food given to us... The taste was good... But the heigene and cleanliness is what made me quit hostel and go for PG... We caught insects in our food several times... The milk we got was just water with some milk powder... My experience with hostel was good except for the food. U can register for the hostel once u have taken admission in the college and we have to submit it online once the notice comes... The hostel charger us 44000 and then 28500 for the rest... First time they take some annual charger.

EXPLORING SRI VENKATESWARA COLLEGE - A review by a common student

The hostel facilities are great, but there's a limitation of only four students per department per year- 2 boys and 2 girls, with a mix of general and reserved categories. The monthly fee is around 9000-10000, which is affordable, the food is excellent, with a diverse menu and meals served at proper timings. It also has a common room for both boys and girls hostel, a table tennis and badminton court, and a garden nearby.

Sri Venkateswara College's Saga

Sri Venkateswara College provides Hostel facilities for Top Students. Students who got good marks in the previous semester are only eligible for a hostel. If you are a topper from a certain course you will be eligible for a hostel. Otherwise, they don't consider you. There are only 72 seats (3 years) for boys and 72 seats(3 years) for girls. The hostel fee is Rs 9100 per month including food etc...

Absolutely good for BSC Mathematics because of the one of the best faculties

Hostels are allotted to very less students i.e. 144 . 72 for boys and 72 for girls are the number of seats available in hostels. Registration can be easily done by filling hostel registration form. Very large corridors as well a gym is also available in college hostels .Proper safety as well as cleanliness is considered to be the first priority of the college authorities.

A Good college with Ample opportunities

No, There is a college Hostel available but there are very few seats available which you get through merit. There are a variety of options available for accommodation just outside college you can find PGs, Flats and what not. They are bit expensive as college is in South Delhi. You can have an average of about 6000-12000 pm depending upon what you choose. College hostel charges about 7000pm including mess charges.

No becuase I live in Delhi and I have my own father home but many of my friend opted for hostle in PG contest you will get South camous hostel not college hostel and the south camous hostel is very awesome. All staff are very carefull and many student want to opeted this hostel but not evry get chance but for ug you will get college hostel. I think pg room is very expensive nearn college approx 10000 per month including all th thing

Top colleges for science streams

No, there are very limited seats available for hostel accommodations. From each course two seats are available one for boy and the other for girls hostel. The hostel facility is only available to those who have applied for hostel and have cleared the cutoff (yes there is a separate cut off list for hostel admission as well depends on percentage, interview, distance of hometown from college and many other criteria). Also to mention the hostel is situated in the campus at around 100mtrs distance and the hostel fee is very less as compared to PGs that are available in the near market area with a monthly rent of 10000 for a decent room on sharing basis while the hostels monthly fee is 6000 approx along with mess and no extra electricity charges that are charged by the PG's on 10Rs unit basis that leads to a extra montly charge. SO i would say f you get hostel it will be a lot better for you and you can save some pocket money too. (no travel, no food expenses, no electricity and repair charges that are charged by the PG's)
