- The college campus is beautiful and a very nice place to hang out. The vibe is amazing and people are also good.
- The facilities are appropriate for all the courses. In my course the labs are addons and they are pretty good with all the requirements fulfilled.
Dislikes
- The elections which takes place once a year but creates a lot of mess around the college campus. I personally don't like the campaign letters being spread all over the campus.
- I don't have a lot of dislikes but there is a sewer problem which is temporary but still it can be resolved as it affects the morning mood.
Placement Experience:
The placements are good considering it is a non-technical institute and the placement cell is very active. Students from 1st semester can apply for internships which comes on regular basis so there are olenty of opportunities for internships. A lot of my friends are doing internships in big companies (like EY, KPMG etc.) For the placements, the students gets eligible after the fourth semester and all the placements are handled by placement cell. You have to provide your information like contact information, resume and gpa as the basic information for sitting in placements. Tier - 1,2 and 3 companies visit college campus including the big four The highest package offered was around 21 lpa and the average package is around 6 lakhs. For statistics, a lot of alumnis sre doing great. For an instance, one day an alumni visited us and she did her master's from Harvard and was placed at Microsoft. I personally don't want to do jobs in corporate so I am focusing on my music career

- The Overall Student Culture there, Competition Among the Students is Nice and it's great to find Nice Peers
- Society and Clubs provide Opportunity time by time to improve your soft and hard skills
Dislikes
- Canteen food is very unhygienic and cleanliness there is not upto mark
- Drainage leakage outside the college main door
Placement Experience:
College has a decent placement in the fields of consulting, auditing, sales and marketing with median package around 6-8 lakh per annum and highest packege of 21 lakhs with companies like EY, Deloitte etc.

- The place where it is located is just nearby satyaniketan.. Where a lot of pg / flats are available for students....so it becomes easy for us to go to college daily and it takes hardly 5 minutes to reach the college
- The mess and canteen of the college provides good pricing for the foods that are much expensive if we go to the other shop
Dislikes
- The hostel has the seating capacity of only 75boys and 75girls...25 from each year .. So many of the students have to look for pg/ flats which is tough for a first yr student. Also the fees of hostel=9500/M is much higher compared to other govt hoste
- In a place like delhi where temp reaches around 50 in summer... There are no cooling facility available other than fans... Even in science labs where sometimes we hve to switch the fans off... There are no ac...
Placement Experience:
Student only get placed whn they are in 3rd year of the college.. Not before that.. Before that... U get internship.. Me being the student of 1st year... I don't know much about college placements I knew that the highest package proposed was 22lakh/ yr amd average package of the college is 6-7lakh/ yr Many student don't get placed from these types of college as the courses offered by the college require further studies and experience... Like msc Or mcom.. That's why only few of them get placed and those who get placed also don't take up the job and go for further studies as that will give them the better future My plan is to get a phd in some topic from zoology only... I will do the masters in animal studies and then go for phd

- The computer lab of the college is small.
- Volleyball court is not maintained in the week.
Placement Experience:
Students will be eligible for the campus placements in the 6th semester. About 40 percentage of students getting the campus placements. After getting the degree I would like to join civil services and serve the nation.

- The best thing that i liked about my collge is the support of the faculty towards the students. The faculty always stand for the students.
- The nature of the college and the crowd is good along with infrastructure and facilities provided to the students.
Dislikes
- The thing that i dislike is that hostel food is extremely trash and uneatable.

From 6th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. As per 2022-2023 placement cell report: a) 242 total placement offers acoss courses b) 452 total internship offers were given c) Highest package was of 2150000 d) Average package was 658000 For this course the top offer companies were reliance digital, Dmart and croma for the posts of - HR executive, Market research analyst, school counsellor etc.

- The faculties of lifescience department including chemistry,botany and zoology facilities are so good as they explain each and every concept in such a way that develops our interest in particular field .
- Biochemistry faculties are also good their practicals are so interesting as it provide a way we can further go in future in these are well prior known to many teachniques use in biochemistry.
Dislikes
- There is so much water logging,sewage issues near our entry gate that is disgusting.
- we have a backside gate which opens to metro station exit point but it is still under maintenance and not opened yet.
Placement Experience:
Placements from our college is pretty well. students from semester 5 become eligible for placements.In total ,49 companies offers 300 + internship offers to students. highest package was 21.5 LPA offered by DE SHAW .Lowest package is 4LPA . After doing this degree we can further go for Msc ,then higher studies and any other research field .

- Infrastructure is beautiful we have a small temple of venkateshwara also in our college, botanical garden, rock garden, foyer area are just beautiful

- College Distance is lot from my home and Pg conditions are not much good their price is hyped up and sanitation is not proper.
- Sewage problem happen in front of our college many times and footpath in front of our college is broken and garbage is their
Placement Experience:
Just after graduation, you can not expect much salary from Delhi University Colleges you can get 20000 roughly in a month. In the third year, our college provides placements but most people go for higher studies.

- Sri Venkateswara College provides good sports facilites.Many sports can be played here like football ,cricket, badminton, basketball, lawn tennis chess, table tennis, carrom,etc.You can also borrow equipments from the college to play the sports.
Dislikes
- Common sitting area inside the college with chairs is very less near the canteen. There are only a few seats inside the shed which are always occupies and most of the times dirty,and the other sitting chairs near canteen are in the open.
- Time Table and class number are a bit messy sometimes . For a new student, understanding the time table is very difficult even after seeking help from other. The classes are scattered and sometimes they don't even happen where they should be.
Placement Experience:
The placements of the college are pretty good and decent . A student can get a good package after graduating from this college . A student can become eligible for placements in the third year of his/her studies and comprises of various rounds of interviews and group discussions . The number of companies visited the college were around 90 , there were 200+ offers made . Several companies which visited the college were De Shaw & Co , KPMG , Delloite , Bajaj Capital , etc . Highest package was 29.7 lakhs and average package was 5.9 lakhs . The company which offered the highest package was De Shaw & Co. The percentage of students getting placed is over 70% . My plans after getting the degree is to pursue for higher education in masters and get dual degree from Sri Venkateswara college and another reputed college for better placements in future . Sri Venkateswara College degree is very valuable in every field as this college provides variety of courses under Delhi University (DU) .

- The classroom At college are non air conditioned. This becomes a very major problem during summers .
Placement Experience:
I am pursuing b com course in this college . So the campus placement record is not bad . 2 or 3 companies among the big 4 come in the campus for the placement. But the main factor affecting your placement is your skill set . If You have Pursued CS along with you UG degree . Then your chances or getting placed becomes higher automatically as compared to a person with only the UG degree.

- College hostel has very limited seats and PG rents are very high.
- There is too much burden of assignments and written works on students.

Our college has a dedicated Placement cell. They regularly conduct internship fairs for all the undergraduate students and conduct regular seminars for students to be job ready. These seminars also give us insights about preparing CVs, giving interviews and many other productive skills. The placement cell invites companies to college and give us wide range of opportunity. The highest package of 2023 was 2150000, median was 600000 and average was 658000 and all of these was just because of our Placement cell. 242 students got campus placement just after under-graduate degree and 452 students got internship in a single academic year.
